My first experience with Prawn was a free download of Ships via Topshelf. I played it in the background while I was doing homework several times and thought it was pretty good. Then one night I had to pull an all-nighter to finish some really intense projects and I listened to Spring River probably 20 times because the "a mistake, I messed up" part was stuck in my head and I was going insane. So naturally I proceeded to purchase the vinyl. Then they released Scud Running from Kingfisher a year later and I was like "this is the greatest thing I have ever laid ears on."

Upon further inspection, I think the screen print will actually go really well with my white pressing of Waves. Also worth noting, got my 7" in today. It's 33 RPM but sounds really fantastic, definitely glad I picked it up after the fact.

...Anybody want a white at cost?

I highly doubt it. I think they got a little burnt out, but that the hiatus reminded them how much they love making music. I'm calling an LP in 2017.

Topshelf selling first press clear w/ smoke and third press grey today. If you want it, don't hesitate, this is literally one or two copies of each.

A nice comparison is the drum bit 5 minutes into 8105. Granted, I was comparing to an Amazon MP3 at 228 kbps, but there's so much more life in the remaster. Great dynamic range improvement. Got me really excited for the vinyl.

New master sounds great on mp3, can't wait for the vinyl.

That is an ugly as hell inner sleeve. Was really hoping for opaque oxblood, but trans will do I suppose.

Will probably pick one up if the rainbow discs don't end up looking great.

SRC is claiming their copies at least are on red vinyl. Didn't say if it was transparent or opaque. Still crossing fingers for oxblood.
