*3 years I know everybody likes to bitch about this stuff and I get it to a degree, but think about them as human beings. Aaron and Spencer are the only ones really doing music anymore. Aaron's music is successful but very different. Spencer's is... not nearly as successful as UO. You've spent a decade of your life as part of a creative vanguard making awesome music that people flip their shit for. Then you spend 3 years in civilian life either doing normal shit or doing music that really isn't as well received or is drastically different from what you spent your glory years doing. Somebody says "hey let's do a quick reunion tour for our two most well-received records and probably make some decent money while living a small taste of our old life", you're gonna be like "sign me the fuck up." I don't care how fulfilled they may be in their current careers, you're hard pressed to find a career musician who isn't itching to relive the rockstar experience every few years.

Pulled out my second press of TOCS today for some nostalgic feels and nabbed a kind of cool shot when I noticed how the lighting turned out.

I would still love to see solo re-releases. I'm thinking TOCS repressed as the special edition with Bannon artwork on a gatefold jacket, 2x12" mastered at 45 RPM and including the bonus tracks (Smic Tague might not fit, I wouldn't really be too upset), pressed on transparent green or cokebottle. Then DTGL with the special edition artwork on a gatefold jacket, 2x12" pressed on black, transparent sea blue, or clear with black smoke.

Well that's extremely handy! Haven't even had Ravin Red yet because they don't seem to ship them down here. Highly recommend the cream soda if you like a honey-based cream soda.

I'm jealous, I see you're on their home turf. It can be tough to find the stuff down here. Ended up buying a whole case of their cherry cola from Jet a while back.

The Jersey sorting center is infamous for sitting on packages for days on end. I've heard rumors of some sort of corruption troubles up there, but really all I can say is that they suck and there's a 90% chance they'll hold on to your package for 4~6 days. Pain in the ass. Just know you're not alone.

I have a 2nd press of ITTCT "Above the Earth, Below the Sky" on forest green /100. Listened to it maybe 3 times in as many years and feel like someone else would appreciate it more than I do. New apartment, finally mostly happy with my setup. Just need to get around to hanging the prints. Also now that I look at the photo, the Birdman bill might have to move as the asymmetry is making me a little uneasy. Running a Music Hall MMF 2.2 through a Sherwood RX-109 out a dual setup of Paradigm Atoms (v2) and Polk RT25is. Don't think I've ever actually seen anyone else do dual bookshelf speakers, but I think the pair really compliments each other as the Paradigms give me crystal highs and bring vocals to life so much more, and the Polks really fill everything out. I've been enjoying it thus far.

I think they just don't realize how much people get stickassed about this kind of thing.

I also have the red and gold pressing and it's not amazing. Not awful, but there is a fair bit of noise. Edit: Actually I just cleaned and spun it and it's pretty bad. If the latest pressing is a big step up I'm very inclined to partake.

I pre-ordered it the first night, I've just been planning on picking up another variant to supplement with if the rainbow turns out ugly.
