Gospel - The Moon is a Dead World ... one of my all-time favorite records and very hard to find, so it's pretty sad that this copy is so wrecked. Guess I need another copy of this after all.

Yeah could be, but it just looks like regular dirt that just won't go away. And yes, there's a big audible difference, as it pops and cracks a lot.

Hi folks, I have a record I with a lot of greasy dirt on the surface. I tried dry cleaning with a micro fibre cloth and my MoFi brush, then wet cleaning with the water/isopropanol/dish soap combo, pure alcohol, and lens cleaner - nothing worked. At all. I mean, there are also some small particles/fluffs/hairs on the surface, but I just can't get rid of it. Seems like the dirt+particles are glued onto the record or something. Here are some pictures: http://imgur.com/a/CfxAP The thing is that the dirt stuff is only on the opaque white splotches of the record, the clear red part looks great. Any ideas?

Yeah, don't worry. I think they put up a limited amount of preorder copies which should be all on white.
