Actually, it isn't the kind of Paramore thread you'd like to think it is, Zaynaynay. It's a thread to talk about the repressing of Paramore-Brand New Eyes, so people can discuss this album in particular and maybe some side Paramore chat. However, it is absolutely not a place where you can brag about your mad rare vinylz willy nilly.

You are exactly what is wrong with music fandom these days.  Why do you feel the need to be such an elitist?  If I were to become a Paramore fan tomorrow - or a year from now - I would be just as good a fan as you or anybody else regardless of the amount of years you've been a fan and the size of your record collection.  The issue that this forum has with you is that we see eachother as equals when it comes to music and you just want to come in here and shit on everyone who you feel isn't as big a fan as you are.
 
Go ahead and be enthusiastic about your favorite band, but don't parade yourself around as if you're better than everyone else and automatically assume that everyone else is a liar and a fake when they try to level with you about maybe, possibly, having the same interests that you do in music.

SLC Punk was absolutely one of my favorite movies throughout high school. I got to chat with Matthew Lillard about it when he was on Warped promoting his movie adaptation for Fat Kid Rules The World (I was bummed that they didn't do the book justice at all, but that's a story for another day). I hope he has involvement with the sequel, I'm interested to see where it goes.

i picture this thread as its own little world. and in that world, its like the stock market floor with all those people on the phone buying and selling. except all you hear is "hi, do you have any copies? is it red?" repeated over and over. people screaming, women and children crying.

Oh my god, the text at the bottom is flawless.

Fuck the wax, I want this pressed directly on stickers.

It is pretty terrible.  I didn't even realize these were hard to find until very recently when I started looking for a replacement.  There's one on Amazon $118, which I assumed was absurd, but maybe it's not if they never show up on Ebay or anything.
 
I also kick myself occasionally for not buying the CD for $2 in a Hot Topic that was closing a few years ago.  Even that is like $16 on Amazon now.
 
EDIT: I put my copy on again because I got a new turntable since the last time I tried to listen to it. I didn't think that would make a difference, but it played right through the spot that used to have a terrible skip with only a couple tiny pops! It's a Christmas miracle.

This was extremely enjoyable, I'm definitely going to keep up with this series. It's fun to watch artists talk so passionately/excitedly about other artists that influence them in some way.
