New Battletoads press, disc 1 has music from the original, disc 2 the recent reboot(?)
500 random orders get a cassette as well.

These recent Tooth & Nail/Solid State reissues are licensed, so that's probably a factor in the price. Unoriginal Vinyl has done some pretty nice work with them though.

Bought an unknown sealed copy of The Devil Wears Prada - Zombie EP on eBay (was a second chance offer since the first buyer flaked or something) for $25. Opened when I got it and it's the rare grey marble variant. I was able to get it signed by 5/6 of the original/recording members a year or so later. Worth at least double when I first bought it, could probably get $200+ for it on a good day now.

Last I posted here was 2015... but it looks like I acquired the whale I posted, hahaha.
I can't remember when I acquired this one but it's pretty rare and I'm happy to own:
Black Iris - "Welcome to Bright Falls" I've only seen 6 in existence. https://www.discogs.com/Black-Iris-Welcome-To-Bright-Falls/release/7151118
I guess now... I'm hunting for the test presses for:
Artifex Pereo - Time In Place
Artifex Pereo - Passengers

Caved and got a boxset... I can hopefully sell my Rebirth tour variant to offset the cost a bit. Plus I'll have that other copy of LITSOS now!
I'm really interested in that full tour comment. Playing all three of these in full? That would've been sick!

I dig the box set. I have that "Rebirth tour vinyl" already, but another copy of LITSOS would be nice. I have those 10" sawblades for that one.

Bought that so fast yesterday. They’ve been teasing it for so long so I was super excited for it to finally go up.
I know! Hopefully this will lead to a press for Alan Wake as well. Petri Alanko's scores for their last few games have been really good.

I'd highly recommend it. Any of Remedy's games are great(imo)! Disclosure, I have not played the Max Payne ones though.

That's pretty cool and unexpected...
Now for the KOTOR soundtracks! II is one of my favorite scores.

I liked the green (at least mock up wise) but missed the announcement by about an hour. Crazy how fast these are going. The B-sides are what intrigue me with this press.

It's weird, definitely vinyl that's not showing up under the Solid State link...Norma Jean, TDWP...
One thing I have noticed is that their store is set up really weird. You can actually find more records (NJ, TDWP) under the "bundles" tab, probably because those include digital downloads. I don't know, I think it's weird also. Or just look at "home/everything".

25% everything in stock. Might be a good time to pick up some of the recent releases if you've been on the fence:

Hopefully we'll get some (re)presses of their other records, I know he's mentioned it a few times already.

Looks like they will all be gatefold 2xLP's... and there will be a few more variants, they should become available on release date:
Grey Pearl
Electric Sapphire (US Indie Store exclusive)
Silver+Gold (FYE exclusive)

This wasn't originally a Solid State release, but looks like it was reissued under them in 1999. Not sure who's in charge of this one.
I don't think I've (truly) listened to pre-Bruce LS. Definitely on board for represses and firsts of their catalog though!

Oh my. I was about to buy it but this is too ugly for me to enjoy.
Yeah! Who buys records for the music anyways!?

Looks like there will be a Black Friday sale after all, 30% select vinyl from the 29th to 1st.
Don't think they'll do any of the newly "licensed" stuff though. (Like mentioned above, they'll probably try/need to get as much as they can from these). If they do, I'm going to be pretty upset... I'm already a bit annoyed buying Beloved, Chariot, and HTD individually. Why didn't they just release all these at the same time and save me a bit on shipping?
Is Dead Format coming back?

I think Dead Format was better at showing off collections. Don't remember too much of the sales/trades/community, but I don't recall any problems.
Discogs is good as a database (pressing info, variants, current "value") and the marketplace can be handy. But the collection layout is messy and cluttered... Navigating releases can be a little tedious... Adding things not in the database is a pain...
