I personally use the following inner sleeves and outer sleeves on everything in my collection. 12" Records Mobile Fidelity Master Sleeves - http://www.sleevecityusa.com/Mobile-Fidelity-Master-Sleeves-50-Pack-p/312nmofi.htm For non-gatefold-2xLP, Diskeeper Double Audiophile Sleeves - http://www.sleevecityusa.com/diskeeper-audiophile-inner-sleeve-pack-of-50-p/312drps.htm Ultimate Outer 5.0 - http://www.sleevecityusa.com/ultimate-outer-5-0-record-sleeve-p/9380.htm 10" Records Diskeeper 2.0 Antistatic Inner Sleeve - http://www.sleevecityusa.com/Diskeeper-2-0-Antistatic-10-Record-Sleeves-p/9215.htm Ultimate Polypro Outer Sleeve - http://www.sleevecityusa.com/ultimate-10in-polypro-outer-record-sleeve-p/9220.htm 7" Records Diskeeper Antistatic Inner Sleeve - http://www.sleevecityusa.com/7-Inch-Anti-Static-45-Inner-Sleeve-100-Pack-p/9239.htm Ultimate Polypro Outer Sleeve - http://www.sleevecityusa.com/ultimate-7in-polypro-outer-record-sleeve-p/9464.htm If you're referring to the thick, PVC plastic sleeves that come on picture discs, please check out this thread on another forum for more insight: http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/warning-to-all-record-collectors-outer-bag-inner-sleeve-concerns.387179/ The constant pressure when records are stacked, side-by-side or top-to-bottom, causes the plastic to stick to the record, which you've already experienced. If left alone this will ultimately cause the chemicals in the plastic to break down, resulting in the plastic sticking to your records and often in the grooves. The best way to preserve your records is to clean them upon receipt, and transfer them into new inner and outer sleeves that are designed for archiving. While some of the options I linked above may seem expensive, it comes out to ~$1.00 per record to preserve them for your lifetime. That's a cheap price to pay, in my opinion, for even the cheapest clearance bin find. I hope this helps.

Will a hair dryer work in an attempt to warm the glue in hopes the paper will be easier to pull apart? I'm worried about the heat warping the record, but I've never tried this. -

There's only 10 test press bundles, and it is for charity. There are worst decisions you could make while drinking. -

The shipping was the only thing I didn't care for, but I don't mind the $38.00 price considering it's all going to charity. -
How much weight can be given to a site that doesn't allow comments on their reviews? It's a forum for so-called experts to speak on music that clearly isn't to their liking.

Death Of Lovers - Buried Under A World Of Roses Pulling Teeth - Paranoid Delusions | Paradise Illusions Rise And Fall - Into Oblivion Starkweather - This Sheltering Light Starkweather / Overmars - Starkweather & Overmars Split I've only listed to Death Of Lovers, so far, but that EP alone was worth the purchase. What a great gothic vibe. The title track is my favorite. It reminds me a lot of The Cure.

PO: Lucero - All A Man Should Do

I live about 15 minutes south of downtown Sacramento, and there may be something like this at bars in the city, but I don't care for the downtown scene. I mostly stick to my relatively small town, which would explain why I haven't heard of something like this before. -

That's a great idea. My favorite watering hole is less than a mile from my house and the owner and a couple of employees will play guitar, banjo, and fiddle after closing time on occasion. I've been there well past 3:00 am some nights, just listening to them play, playing our favorite songs on TouchTunes, and drinking beer. I'll have to mention an idea like this to him. He's a music nerd, and I think he would dig it. -

That's really cool a local bar does a vinyl night. I've never heard of a bar doing something like that. -

I'll be at a wedding event that morning, and a concert following that. If anyone can pick up the Beach Slang tape for me, I'll throw in an extra $5.00 for the effort.- 69 replies

This will be the first album of his I've purchased, and I've only heard the two singles from it. I think I'll wait to hear this album before I explore the rest of his catalog. First impressions matter. -

Wouldn't it be better to use "Taylored Swiftness"?
