I haven't listened to the Kirkman podcast, only the Nerdist episode. What whoever exposing themselves? Is that the story? Maron is a better interviewer for sure. They both did Ian McClellan on the same day and Maron's was league better. They both have Robert Rodriguez this week and Maron is winning again. I still really like both. I also really like Pete Holmes's. It's either silly because he has a good comedy guest, but it get my brain percolating too.

Weird that 7 years ago this thread was not going very deep with comedians. I guess that was before the podcast boom, which I'd argue spurred a new golden age. The comedy scene now makes me wish I moved to Chicago after college back in 06.

What's new (to Netflix at least) and worth it? We watched Late Phases last night, and if someone could explain the story behind that movie I'd appreciate it. It seems to me to be a shot-for-shot remake of some bad 80's monster movie no one has seen, but with modern camera superiority. The acting is bad, the writing is horrible, the editing and direction is questionable, but I had fun! If it's a send up to bad B movies, then they fucking nailed it. If not, I still had a good time at the movies.

Yeah, Honor was $35, so I passed. No Sumac records, but maybe some of his other bands. Same for Brothers. Saved me from buying amy thing other than beer.

I do Epson salt water at the beginning of each month. It's supposed to be good for blossom production. I have red, green, and black bells, jalapeños, and bananas. I pickled a bunch of jalapeños and bananas, and I'm freezing a bit of everything too. Cherry and Roma tomatoes are stewed and blended into sauce, then into the freezer. Starting to eat a lot of caprese sandwiches because my purple cherokee tomatoes are ripening. I've been picking tomatoes when they're orange to beat the squirrels, then ripening them in a tupperware container or paper bag.

I've had peppers and tomatoes popping up like crazy the past couple weeks. So much freezing and canning. I'm going to plant my fall crop of leafy greens and lettuces this week, then doing a massive rebuild of the bed for next year. Going waaaaaay overboard, but it'll be fun!

Yeah, I just use it for movies and TV shows that I've downloaded. Nothing too intricate. I thinking maybe I can get a cheap one off Craigslist and just use it for Plex, then continue using the Xbox for everything else. Good to know the $5 is actually one time.

Old bump for pricing question. Currently, I do all my streaming through my 360: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO, and Plex. With Xbox, I have to pay $5 a month for the Plex Pass. However, from my understanding the Plex app on a Roku is a one time fee of $5. I'd much rather do that and save the monthly fees. So, I'm thinking my long term options are: 1. Keep Xbox, upgrade to lifetime Plex Pass for $150. Pays for itself in 15 months. 2. Buy Roku ($30-$80), buy Plex app for $5. 3. Build bare bones PC to use as media player and use TV as monitor. #2 seems like the best option financially, and #1 is the laziest. Can anyone verify #2 is how the Roku does Plex? If I need the pass for the Roku as well, then I'll just stick to the Xbox. Thank you, you are all precious in my sight.

Whoa, that's awesome. How old is that plant? I tried to grow cascade and centennial this year. Both were pretty near death a month ago. Manure revived the centennial and it's now about 10-12'. I doubt it'll flower this year. Cascade looks bad, but we'll see if it tries again next year.
