  1. Really loving the vibes of the track, but I very much agree with @Derek™. Need the full instrumental as the compliment to this album. Also, with each passing album, I've been hoping he would go back to Awake and Dive soundscapes. If anyone is feeling nostalgic for those Tycho days, check out 'Hello Meteor'. Been loving on them recently, and it's filling the void quite well.
  2. New track tomorrow; from the FB teaser, this one sounds suuuuuper chill. Can't wait.
  3. 'U' is tragically bad; the triple layered vocals are so overplayed. Stop. 'Hey' Ma' is great. Despite the 'Babe' mice background squee's, it has some good self titled vibes still there. Both music videos were terrible.
  4. Got mine today. Slight crease on the jacket Bout to sit down with it.
  5. I love that shit honestly. Anything ambient+techno/dub sign me up. Subheim, Kangding Ray, Shifted (edit: also Ghosting Season and Yagya if you need more to check out)
  6. Just compile the last 5+ years of singles and you have yourself an 'album' to listen to... In all seriousness I'm pumped; always down for more Burial and if this is an indication of a new album then I'm fine waiting.
  7. Great Lake Derelict for me, that open riff though... I agree with that, but for the first half of the song, then it mellows out nicely to close it out. I'd imagine that's the direction were heading with this next album though.
  8. I fell so hard in love with IR, so that always hold a special place in my heart/top priority on ranking even if it isn't objectively the best.
  9. I saw them post a few weeks ago that they would be in PA recording studio, and I *couldn't* resist inviting myself down to check it out since I'm only a half hour away from where it's happening... Haven't heard anything back yet though...
  10. Song is very good. Seems like it would work more as the opener though.
  11. Honestly just going with the black. Clean and simple. Might try and snag a teal way down the road if I love this enough.
  12. It's up already. The first 2000 copies of the brilliant new album by the Appleseed Cast will come in embossed "arigato style" packaging (limited one time only pressing with said packaging). There are a few variants: - 250 copies 180 gram black (exclusive to Graveface mail-order customers) - 500 copies 180 gram translucent teal w/ wisps (exclusive to Graveface mail-order customers) - 1000 copies 180 gram white (retail colorway, you'll find these at your local record shops on 6/28 or you can grab one here today) - 250 copies 180 gram handpoured (exclusively for Graveface Record Club members - join today at bit.ly/2JemTOQ) - 50 test pressings with stencil spray painted... more digital album releases June 28, 2019 item ships out on or around June 27, 2019
  13. Lucky bastards. Hoping they come around again this year for a headlining tour for the new album. I can't be too upset though. Seen them three times already with meWithoutYou and Hop Along and Caspian.
  14. I wanted to go to this show in Philly but couldn't swing it at the time during my finals week. Super bummed I missed it.
  15. *NO OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE OR COVER ART YET* PO this Thursday, 5/23, via Graveface Records "Test acetate approved of the new album by @theappleseedcast! As I’ve said already this is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard, hands down. It’s mental. This will hit indie retail late June and preorders will be up on our site THIS THURSDAY with some options being very limited. Thursday will also be the day we’ll premiere the first single from the record. Pro tip: If I were you I’d join the Graveface Record Club for this before it’s too late as there will be a test pressing version only available to our dedicated subscribers. xoxo" I find it very weird that there was only word on this new album back in May and we still don't have a cover art, track, or release date yet, but they are already doing a PO. I'm in either way, as I absolutely love everything they've done, but I'm surprised this is so secret and underhyped.
  16. I feel like I have so many of those haze/galaxy variants. Went with the splatter. Track is absolute killer btw. Cover art, not so much.
  17. It's all 'ooo'ing' and 'ahhh'ing' so I guess it doesn't count.
  18. I used to jam TEPB so hard, but barley listened to the last two. The change of labels really screwed these guys. Sounds like super generic radio-rock. Agreed on the ez-pass.
  19. I feel like half my collection is clear. I'm not mad.
  20. Missed the Pink unfortunately, so went with the Indie Clear. Haven't had a chance to do anything in the last few days.
  21. Awake is still a go-to absolute fucking chill album. He started to get a bit repetitive, but the new tracks and teasers with vocals are making me super excited.
  22. Still scrobble as well, don't even have to think about it not working, everything from my phone and laptop syncs up no problem. Been less active with listening the last few years, less time, but I've been picking up again. Link in my sig.
  23. I'm liking the two songs, but not enough to warrant a PO right now; will wait for the full album. Looks like the two stocks of color should last a bit.
