  1. That was a few weeks ago, there is a new song called Collide Into Me on spotify. I thought the first single was ok, the second is much more melow and chill.
  2. @Derek™ @mrewest Thought you guys might dig this 😢 Prob should have just put this in the shoegaze thread tho...
  3. Yo, good looks with all he variant links, thanks man! Winter's Gate was an absolute gem of a metal album, not just for Insomnium. One of my all time favs already. Cannot wait for this. Will probably be going for the numbered /200 silver, though that pink and purple are beautiful.
  4. With "Don't Believe, Watch Out," Pencey Sloe unroll a rather distinct carpet of weightless guitars and enraptured singing onto dense dimensions of shoegaze and dream pop. It is the first full-length of the Parisian trio featuring charismatic front woman Diane Pellotieri as well as Clément Baptiste (drums) and Valentin Beaucourt (lead guitar), who seemingly came out of nowhere in 2017 and are set to make it far. Pencey Sloe are exceptional for their ability to marry enchanting intricate harmonies to an angelic voice, all propelled by an addictively straightforward rhythm section. Thus, their tunes become sonic shades - bitter-sweet and bright on the surface, acutely dark below like the shadow side of our psyche. As it happened during songwriting, the band indeed put up "an empty canvas that turned into a weird musical self-portrait" of their newborn, blossoming endeavor. "Recording our music was an emotional experience for me that I can't put into words; actually I don't even know if want to … it was a fluent feeling I will have to experience again." Among Pencey Sloe's growing circle of admirers dwell well-established musicians like Alcest's Neige, who "… instantly fell in love with their dark, ethereal sound. I think they are one of the most promising French bands, and their music will surely appeal to fans of Slowdive, Low or Chelsea Wolfe." "Don't Believe, Watch Out" was recorded at Drudenhaus Studio (Alcest, Les Discrets) and is out on September 27th as CD and LP (black or red). --------------- This shit absolutely slaps; instant PO after hearing this single. Super reminiscent of Alcest and Les Discrets, which they reference, but seems to be pushing the metal boundaries. https://us.prophecy.de/prophecy-prophecy-1/pencey-sloe-don-t-believe-watch-out.html
  5. Song is surprising decent and catchy. Not the most sophisticated of lyrical content, but I know what I'm getting when I listen to T&S (esp these HS reworks). Will eventually pick this up, gonna see if there are more options.
  6. Ah yea didn't see most were euro's. Well this press might be an indication we could get one soon for Citrus as well.
  7. Citrus is pretty readily available for cheap (15) on discogs. There was a RSD release back in 2017.
  8. Another option here, tri color, but no picture or press number. Or is this the tricolor mix from the lable? http://store.landlockedmusic.com/product/diiv
  9. Special Edition color is a bit uggo. Waiting for other options.
  10. Their FB links to Sergeant House but CT put out their last 7" as well. Might see a ton of variants.
  11. Yea man I'm honestly not gonna complain. It's lovely looking and sounds amazing. Final verdict on the music coming soon though...
  12. So I got mine today, and it's Clear Pink....could have sworn 100% I ordered the Indie Clear cause the pink was sold out.... It's either I'm brain dead or it's a happy accident... Either way, its 30/550 and looks beautiful, but 🤔
  13. I'll obviously give this record a listen, but I've been more than unimpressed with their last few, and consider them one of the many mediocre acts in post-rock. Too much electronics/math for my tastes.
  14. I had one and sold it recently. What a waste those things are.
  15. Glad I went the BM route and avoid dealing with KRM shitty site/customer service whenever I can...
  16. Literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen a band try and sell...it has to be a price mistake....maybe they meant $50, because that's what it MIGHT be realistically worth.
  17. I'd say since 2011, with TWL. The song is promising but holding out for a full listen.
