  1. Shit that's nice....resist....resist...RESISTTTTTT
  2. In all seriousness, the songs aren't terrible, but it's gonna take some time to get used a new sound, again...
  3. That's kind of absurd. Email them back the timestamp of your order and tell them to check their shit again and cancel someone else.
  4. Went with Clear w/ White Splatter. Not actually thrilled with any of the other variants, nor the cover art....hope th rest of the music is up to par.
  5. It went up early, and now it's not there...or was that for members only? Come on Flenser, don't pull a KRM...
  6. I thought Good Nature was alright but nothing close to PV. Was a little too subdued for my liking.
  7. Song is a good one for sure, not sure which variant to go for rn though
  8. Went with the splatter; was not excited by that box compared to Kodama. Anyways I'm beyond excited for this
  9. 1. Yi [NR] 2. iMi [1] 3. We [2] 4. Holyfields, [3] 5. Hey, Ma [4.5] 6. U (Man Like) [1] 7. Naeem [3.5] 8. Jelmore [1] 9. Faith [4] 10. Marion [3.5] 11. Salem [3.5] 12. Sh'Diah [2.5] 13. RaBi [2] 2.65/5 Some songs growing on me obviously, but I feel this is about as fair and truthful as I can be at this point. BI,BI > FE > 22 > i,i
  10. Thanks for showing me the digital model for this. Now I can build one myself for 30 bucks instead of spending 300. 🍻
  11. Hey Ma and Faith are what I need more of. So, so good, too bad the rest is just WAY off the mark.
  12. Listened to it twice again today, and while some tracks grew on me a bit, I still find the majority of it just flat out bad. There is very little substance to carry the record as a whole. Songs like Hey Ma, Faith and Naeem end before they fleshed out properly. And again with the lyrics and vocal delivery being atrocious, just doesn't hold my interest long enough. I was just waiting for it to be over again.
  13. Nah, just like, it's what we can now expect from BI following 22. He's never going back to those 2 albums I'm sure. I thought 22 was passable, and it grew on me after a little, but I can still only REALLY enjoy a few tracks. Just not my cup of tea the glitch and folktronics.
  14. The opposite, I'd say if you like 22, then you'll like this. This nothing at all like the s/t save one or two tracks.
  15. It's pure fan-catering at this point after 22AMillion, like holy shit some of these tracks/lyrics are cringey...
  16. Yea first 4-5 were amazing, but just very uninspired afterwards. Super unoriginal/samey content doesn't make it far for me anymore unless it's an extremely nuanced band. They are still capable of making beautiful tracks like 'My Sad Captain' and 'Magnificent' but I need more than one solid single.
  17. Very middle of the road track. Certainly sounds like 1990's Tool, though I'm not sure that's a good thing in 2019.... Trying to not get caught up in my HS nostalgia and measure it against those albums.
  18. This band has been getting progressively worse over the years. Really liked Seldom Seen Kid an BARB, but anything after that is forgettable. 30+shipping for single LP? Will pick up in store is this is any good.
  19. It's nice for what it is, but I'm not impressed just because Burial's name is attached to this. First track is good on it's own, very sinister and dark, would be lovely as a backdrop to the typical Burial sound, but the second is not my cup of tea.
  20. Got my splatter today and it looks great, love the packaging. Will spin tonight.
  21. New album streaming in full here. https://bsmrocks.bandcamp.com/album/i-spent-the-winter-writing-songs-about-getting-better Really liking this so far, never heard of them before now.
