  1. Doesnt take a Brazilianaire to purchase. Thats actually real cheap. I could buy that 12" collection if it stays low like the estimate.(under $2300), but why would I want it all? They may have a hard time selling them in lots. Im sure the price will go up in auction, but selling stuff in lots is never easy or as prosperous.
  2. $80? I may need to jump on this. I dont wanna spend the money though!
  3. Why did it sound horrible? Sibilance? Or something else?
  4. Thats a great idea. Great album but those "S's" are terrible on that track. Definitely let me know when you listen to it. Its just the final track on side 1. Thanks
  5. Yeah I cleaned them twice with the Spin Clean. I have a DP-300F with a Shure M97-xe cart. I've never experienced any sibilance and this is BAD
  6. I bought it about 2 weeks ago. Catalog # TMR300. I assumed its the '12-13 press but didnt know tmr was pressing again. Either way the sibilance on that track is unbearable on my setup.
  7. What makes a 10" "gimmicky" lol If anything, colored records are "gimmicky"
  8. Sorry to bump an old thread... but does anyone else notice really BAD sibilance on the last track on side 1? (Theres no Home for you Here)
  9. Do they fit inside the original printed inner sleeves?
  10. What do you mean options? I used to slide the MOFI into the cardboard inner, Or just replace the plain paper ones. I'm hoping the Sleeve City ones fit like the MOFIs did.
  11. Ive been using MOFI inner sleeves for years. Just recently, I bought a pack and they were all slightly too big. I ecvhamged them at the store (same store chain but different location) and they were still too big. I sent MOFI an email about it and they gave me an attitude and pretty much told me I was doing it wrong lol. Anyway....I just placed an order for the Sleeve City Diskeepers.
  12. Anyone heard the news about B.B. King? Hes currently in hospice care at his home in Las Vegas. Poor guy. I hope for the best, but hospice is never good. From what I've read online, theres also a criminal investigation. http://www.tmz.com/2015/04/06/bb-king-hospitalized-diabetes-emergency-las-vegas-hospital/
  13. Yes, for standard 78s. Im not sure about the Elvis though. Is it meant to ply with a 78 stylus? Any one know?
  14. Most TTs can be modded to play at 78 rpm. Don't ask me how to do it, but I knows its been done a bunch of times. 33 + 45 = 78 It's just a matter of a resistor I believe. Edit: heres a vid on how to mod a Technics SL-D1 Also a link on how to mod a belt drive TT to play 78 by using electrical tape on the spindle. http://www.oaktreevintage.com/resources_misc/78_RPM_Changing-modify_existing_33-45-RPM_turntable_to_Play_78-RPM_RECORDS.htm And another link that shows another way... http://www.edisonia.com/articles/78/
