Yes exactly. The SL-B2 or SL-D2 as I previously mentioned. Easily setup, runs and built like a tank, and easily swappable headshells/cartridges. For the OP, the only real difference between them is B = Belt drive and D = Direct drive

Find yourself a running Technics SL-D2 or SL-B2. Built lots ke tanks and can be had for a reasonable price. Also, upgrade the cart/stylus before playing anything.
