Yeah, the N55ES has the same transformer as the N80ES. I'm on the lookout for another N55ES to run them in mono.
No pictures of my complete setup (too messy) but I've included a picture of my turntable.
This is my setup: Luxman PD444 w/Luxman TA-1 & Ortofon Quintet Black, Luxman TA-1 & Ortofon Vivo Blue > Pro-Ject Tube Box DS > Cambridge Audio 651A (as a preamp) > Sony TA-N55ES > Mordaunt-Short Mezzo 8.

yes, I was going to invest in getting a 1200 but I found this one cheap and after trying it out, I loved it and no complaints ever so far.

Its not a good idea to have your turntable on top of your amp regardless of which turntable or amp.
I know the isolation feet on an SL1200 are quite good I've used enough professionally but that's with a DJ cart like a Stanton and your Ortofon is a little more sensitive than the average DJ cart
Not trying to be a prick but your stylus works on vibrations and when you turn your amp up it's going to add unwanted vibrations regardless of how good the isolation feet on your turntable are.
It doesn't help in the cooling airflow to your amp either.

I'm so glad this got a stand-alone release on standard vinyl. I already have an original pressing of Alive 1997 and i've wanted Alive 2007 ever since I started collecting. People said it would be impossible due to the way the album is laid out as one continious piece but I still had hope.
