  1. hey dude i have a TON of crazy shit listed in this facebook album. pictures of the actual items, with prices and descriptions of everything that's available. hit me up on facebook (i don't really check VC that often so if you message me here there's a good chance i won't see it). FACEBOOK ALBUM
  2. follow me on instagram @danthemjfan23 and vote on my polls. i'm posting a bunch of stuff (mainly jerseys) from my Michael Jordan collection, but i have lots of other stuff, too. if that's your sort of thing.

  4. do you still have any // all of these available? i messaged you through ebay about the jawbreaker and JTB tapes you had listed. if any of them didn't sell, i'm interested.
  5. surely somebody has to have a red copy of Born To Quit that they're willing to sell to me...
  6. was able to transfer a few line items from the "WANTS" section to the "I ALREADY HAVE" section recently. help me transfer a few more?
  7. hey dude, i've heard good things about your store, and about you personally. i have a ton of rare items available in this facebook photo album. add me there and we can work something out if there are some pieces you're into. i do have lots of rare records, but i also have original bowling pins from Fireside Bowl, a Matt Skiba signature guitar limited to only 100 that were produced, used drum sticks from Mike Felumlee of Smoking Popes/Alkaline Trio, rare shirts and merch from Alkaline Trio, Hot Water Music, Chance the Rapper, Kanye, and lots more. i also run Artistic Integrity Records (bandcamp / facebook) and have a couple test pressings available that you might be into. i put out the Plow United / The Scandals split 7" and have one test pressing bundle left of that (you'd get test pressing #9/10, and a matching number copy of each of the variants of that record; red, white, black). Devon Kay of Devon Kay & The Solutions is the guitar player for Direct Hit. i put out the DK&S 7" split with The Ambulance Review, and have a few tests left from that release. those tests come with a die-cut cover which is amazing. same thing with The Fur Coats 7" i put out, die-cut covers on those tests, as well. i have a couple of those left. that band features Devon Kay on bass, but is fronted by Marc Ruvolo of Johann's Face Records, No Empathy, Das Kapital, Traitors, etc... i also help run Live From The Rock Room (youtube / facebook) and starting in October, we'll be releasing vinyl for some of our more popular sessions. maybe we could work something out where you guys get a test pressing, or an autographed copy, or something neat for the store? anyway, the point is, i have lots of shit i'd be willing to work with you on, and i'm always coming across new stuff so if things go well and we're both happy with our first transaction, i see plenty of potential for lots of future deals. i don't check VC super often anymore, so the best way to get in touch with me would either be through facebook or by e-mailing me at [email protected]. hope to hear from you soon, but either way, congratulations on your store and good luck! -dan

  9. as much as is needed to tell the band's story, i suppose.
  10. okay, so i know some of these are going to be a long shot, but that just means i'm nearing the end of my list and most of the things i still want are relatively hard to find. i'm writing a book on the smoking popes, and as part of my background research i'm trying to put together the first truly complete smoking popes collection in the world. variants, tests, and all. however, if you can help with any old merch, original artwork, photos, audio recordings, video recordings, fliers... ANYTHING like that, it would be greatly appreciated. 11. took some digging, but here's the trailer: http://crankstrap.com/fsb/
  12. thanks so much for the kind words. glad you guys are digging what we're doing. it's been so much fun, and it's crazy to think how fast we've grown in just one year of shooting. our first shoot was at the end of february in 2016, and our youtube channel didn't go live until late june, so we've really been hustling. it's really insane looking back at some of our first videos and seeing how far we've come since then. the eye ball kit was a back line kit at Fest this past year. it was built by Madison Drum Makers https://www.facebook.com/MadisonDrumMakers/ we have it on loan until they're done building a custom kit for Mike/the Rock Room. that one should be done within the next month, at which point the eyeball kit will be available for sale through us. if you're interested in it, let me know and i'll put you in touch with mike! unfortunately, the fireside doc is on the back burner for the time being. somebody else released one within the last year and took the wind from my sails. it was disheartening, especially the way it went down, but i have too much good footage to not do anything with it. i also haven't really been in a financial place to pursue doing it this past year, but i'm starting to get back to a place where that might be feasible again, and it is something i do want to see come to fruition. it is nice having lots of the main players come in to the rock room, but with how tight the scheduling is when they're actually in, there just wouldn't be time to do the rock room interview AND a fireside interview AND the live songs. but it's a nice introduction for a lot of us, and it definitely legitimizes me for the times when i do/will approach them to be a part of the documentary. the goal for me by the end of 2017 is to just have the website up and running. from there, i'll try to work more on the film when time/money allows.
  13. if you guys want a real youtube channel to follow, you can follow mine: Live From The Rock Room we are a live music channel that is hosted in Westmont, Illinois in Mike Felumlee's basement. he is the original (and current!) drummer of Smoking Popes, and was the drummer of Alkaline Trio for the From Here To Infirmary album. we have bands come in a record a few songs, and sometimes we'll do interviews with them, too. new videos get posted to the channel every Tuesday and Thursday. we've had some amazing bands in so far, and have some really, really big shit planned for the rest of 2017 and beyond. here are a couple examples of videos we've done. if you're into them, like our page on facebook and subscribe to the youtube channel! if you have any questions about anything, hit me up here or on facebook. if you're a touring band and want to play the Rock Room next time you're in chicago, get at us on our contact form on the website. www.livefromtherockroom.com
  14. this has always, always been a dream of mine. please, for the love of god, invest in a good camera before you leave so you can take a million amazing pictures. and keep a journal/blog of some kind to be able to remember the little details (where/what you ate, interactions you have with people, etc.) 5 years from now. i'm super jealous of you taking this leap. good luck, and safe travels!
  15. hi yu! hi everybody! i'm still alive but very rarely around here anymore. add me on the facebooks if you want to stay in touch! www.facebook.com/danwallach7 www.facebook.com/artisticintegrityrecords
  16. i've been posting pictures of my Michael Jordan jersey collection on instagram. it's been fun. if you're interested in checking it out, you can follow me @danthemjfan23 or by searching the hashtag #jordanjerseyaday
  17. personal: @danthemjfan23 i'm in the middle of posting my michael jordan jersey collection. i'm doing one a day and it'll last through february. label: @artisticintegrityrecords sometimes i post pictures of shows i'm at. sometimes of release details. sometimes just things i'm working on.
  18. hi hello happy new year. i'm not usually one for telling secrets, but let's just say, hypothetically, that since i'm about to go to work and won't be home at midnight (or for a very long while after midnight), that there's a very good chance you can go hear/buy/download the entire comp right this very second. i'm not promising anything. but there's a very, very good chance. https://artisticintegrityrecords.bandcamp.com/album/air-036-an-impression-of-an-original-a-tribute-to-against-me
  19. the next song to be premiered is by The Flips from Chicago. they covered "Borne On The FM Waves Of The Heart" and they fucking killed it. it's streaming exclusively via Jaded In Chicago at the following link: http://www.jadedinchicago.com/2016/12/the-flips-borne-on-the-fm-waves-of-the-heart-exclusive/ if you want to pre-order the whole comp, you can do that here: https://artisticintegrityrecords.bandcamp.com/album/air-036-an-impression-of-an-original-a-tribute-to-against-me
  20. for the time being, no. unfortunately, it's just not in the budget right now to add another few grand to this project. it would have to be a double LP at least, and probably even a triple LP to get it sounding REALLY good. the total running time of the comp is 1:19:53. add the cost of doing vinyl to the high cost of licensing everything properly and legally, and it just isn't very feasible for a small label like me. i wish i could, it's just not realistic. yep. all fake names. this is just one big, clever ruse.
  21. <3 the next song to be released from the comp is "T. S. R. (This Shit Rules)" by The Skulx (members of Foxy Shazam and Cadaver Dogs), and it's streaming thanks to our friends at New Noise Magazine. if you're curious to hear it before January 1, you can listen to it here: http://newnoisemagazine.com/skulx-cover-tsr-shit-rules/
  22. thanks dude! i'm not saying you'll definitely be able to hear that song tomorrow, but if you kept your ears open for some.... new noise(s magazine)... around, idk, like 12 pm eastern time... there's a chance you'll be able to hear it. idk. maybe.
  23. last year's compilation was a tribute to Motown, and was recently named the 15th best covers compilation to be released in 2016 by Cover Me (here's the article with the top 20 list). if you want to listen to that comp, it's available here: https://artisticintegrityrecords.bandcamp.com/album/air-028-not-the-same-old-songs-a-tribute-to-motown
