quick bump for anyone that purchased the indie clear version of "Home Video." the record is cut terribly and sounds awful. my copy is unlistenable with tons of cracks and pops. sounds like quite a few people were disappointed in their copy.

with that said, Matador EU store has the transparent blue - Spotify Fan First exclusive on their webstore for €33.00 + shipping. just received my copy today and it sounds and looks miles better. to finally have a playable copy, it was well worth the $40+.

Odd How People Shake repress will never happen, I’m almost certain. EVR only licensed the rights to reissue the CD version from Rise Records. Rise owns the masters and never paid the band a dime for that /500 orange vinyl run. The members didn’t even receive copies or test presses. 
 

However, self-titled is happening just don’t know when EVR will announce. My hunch is that it’ll be two colors, each limited to 250 (like they’ve done previously) but I could be wrong.

damn I’m really trying to like this record but it just lacks… intensity. I don’t hate the saxophone part, but boy oh boy was I surprised

holy lord, who did this shitty label hire to do order fulfillment? a highly sought after record that hasn't been pressed in almost 20 years and sold out in seconds, and you assholes can't even throw a piece of cardboard in the mailer?

yes, I believe every version has two 2x12 screenprints for the front and back covers. kinda weird. I was working at Suburban Home a little after these came out and never saw a different version otherwise.

there’s a lot of fluff on folklore in my opinion. this new one seems to have a bit more focus, personality and melody. I would say evermore is still too long and has its fluffy moments. overall, liking it more than folklore upon first listen.
