  1. There's few things more satisfying than walking home from work on a particularly shitty day, that song on your headphones, looking into people's eyes and thinking 'you're one of them, you're one of them, you're one of them, you're one of THEM, YOU'RE ONE OF THEM. MYYY WAAAAAARR'. Haha. Fucking LOVE that song.
  2. It took a couple years until I even cared enough to revisit. Funny enough, I finally got into them when I was around 18 and a total metal head. I guess that's why my favorite of theirs to this day is My War (also an all time fav of mine). It's the most natural and seamless transition there is from Sabbath to hardcore, haha. But it didn't take long for me to learn to appreciate the rest of their catalog after finding the initial spark of interest and they've been up there with the greats ever since.
  3. When I was 13 and just discovering punk/hardcore via Sonic Youth, Minor Threat, Fugazi etc. I pretty much hated Black Flag. Haha. Fuck me.
  4. He said he's going to die if the new mbv album didn't see the light of day by the end of the year.. in 1998. I take everything he says/posts with at least a grain of salt. Good news nonetheless. I bought my OG Loveless well worn out ten years ago and it's close to dying on me. Better hurry!
  5. I'm awestruck already. Haha. Seriously though, it'll take you the better part of a week to take pictures with the records displayed. It's just so.. massive!
  6. There should be a list of official Murphy's laws of record collecting. As soon as you acquire a record you've been after, it's super easy to find it all of a sudden. Another big one is that you can count on albums being repressed as soon as you've spent a shitload of cash on an original.
  7. Will see them with Full of Hell in November. Can't wait. Also good to hear they play all three of their full lengths in entirety ;-)
  8. As far as I know gold was exclusive to Nuclear Blast mailorder. They also state it clearly as gold: Maybe there is a DW-exclusive brown variant after all?
  9. @mattycakes I haven't seen a brown variant being mentioned anywhere, so I assume yes.
  10. Great album. Glad I went with gold even though it's among the more common variant choices lately. Goes nicely with the art and all.
  11. For variant hunters in the EU or anyone who'd like to support DW over KRM, red is available at DW EU. http://deathwishinceurope.limitedrun.com/products/574223-touche-amore-stage-four
  12. Not dumb at all! That's my #1 reason to go for a variant instead of standard retail.
  13. Thirded. It took weeks to get me out of the mindset 'The Road' had put me in.
  14. I have a record that came in a single sleeve with the lyrics printed on the inside. Ha.
  15. Went for gold, got it today. Fuck, this record slays. Highly enjoyable.
  16. Irked, sure. No questions asked. But it's not big enough a problem to have a label do a cost intensive repressing to replace quality product.

  18. Are you serious? Nobody got 'fucked', the records are not defective just because they're black instead of white.
  19. I sure did! The title track has an awkwardly fitting ten minute Krautrock-section that almost had me spill my coffee. Good stuff.
