In seriousness, I'm glad it wasn't completely disappointing. There's hope!

I received my copy of The Chronic today. Without listening to it, my only criticisms are: the mailer is risky especially with no inserts, AND the lack of gatefold is lame. The insert picture is crappy and inner sleeves aren't ideal, but whatever.

Cover art looks awesome. Foil accents are great. Vinyl color is appropriate. 

I'll have to listen to the vinyl to give an accurate /10 rating, but visually it's about a 7/10. Audio quality could make/ break.

I'll remain hopeful that future releases will slightly improve in overall quality. Still on the fence about staying a member, but I probably will just a little longer.

Yeah, I took a shot on searching matrices one day for some classic rock hand-me-downs. I was thrilled it worked because those are nightmarish to sort through.

I also think that OP had a genuine question and came to the right place to learn a little, not just collect data. Welcome new folks!

@Derek™ I share your take completely. But also not "completely" because I collect first presses for Against Me and The Lawrence Arms. 

Otherwise I only care about sound quality. (And cool splatturz!)

Some good titles available at Bandbox, a few I'd buy are sold out, though. 

Finally caved and preordered. Snippet I heard was very promising.

This album is what it is, and if you like it, I am absolutely stoked for you to get it on vinyl. If you hate it, I am absolutely stoked for you to not have to buy it. If you think it's okay, I'm also trying to decide whether or not to buy it. 

Will I listen to it? Once. Twice tops. Do I want it? Yep.

Literally nothing. I mean I saw them and blink on that one tour like 22 years ago and was impressed with their performance, so maybe that left a little spark. I kinda like Warning. I'm reaching here, but hopeful.

Ordered from 1234go. Then I heard the song. I appreciate the sentiment of the lyrics and the video (to a degree), but what an absolute dogshit song (no offense if you like it, I was really hoping to). 

I genuinely miss liking Green Day songs.

Dude's a great guitarist, but $1600 and a whole half a shelf is a bit much...

Got my Campfire at Fatty's today. The color is nice and I love that the art is just photos from the l...uhh...session(?). 

For anyone who heard this on the podcast, fingers crossed the record sounds better (doubt it).

I do hate that mentality. Why buy a record if you aren't going to enjoy the music? I've bought things out of morbid curiosity, but if it sucks I'll probably unload it. I do cringe every time a single LP goes up for preorder at $28 before shipping. Sucks.

I agree that the EP was better than this song.

I hate all the variants, but ordered from band store because I feel obligated to with them.
