  1. Mine's fine, though you may want to specify which pressing, I have the second, black pressing.
  2. Interpunk must have got more stock, because I just order both red and green.
  3. Thanks for sharing this, I'm sure I will do it for my friend's band at some point. And yeah, I'm curious about options as far as where to get it done as well, if anyone else has any experience.
  4. Most fucking brutal pain ever, I hit my big toe with a sledgehammer a couple of years back, after a couple of weeks the nail eventually fell off, it took a very long time to grow back, and by the time it started growing again, the nailbed had kinda shrunk. As is, the raises sides of flesh on either side of your toenail were closer together. So while it grew it, it tore into that flesh all the way up. At one point it started to effect the growth of the nail, I could see it starting to pull sideways. I went to the doctor, but because the nail was actually growing fine, it was the nailbed that was the problem, he cut away a chunk of flesh. After the pain of that subsided (two weeks), it's been slightly tender ever since.
  5. I could have got it the first day, but you can only get it if you are in the US, no Canadian love =/
  6. hmm eBay prices? PM'd Edit: still looking, any other offers?
  7. Argyle Park - Misguided test pressing, limited to 3. I've seen this on eBay twice, once for about $1,000, the other time for $450. I actually stocked the guy who got it for $450 and he said that if he were ever to give it up, he'd offer it to me, but that's a big if... Blindside - Selftitled glow in the dark pressing. NEVER seen it.
  8. Inside of the cover is where mine was. Ah! 18/90 then So who got the orange one?
  9. Got my mwY today, grey marble, came with a OSS LP too, awesome! Where did you see the pressing number? I don't see one on mine...
  10. Yeah. $20 + $10 shipping. I just bought it from the same guy! Watch discogs in case he has more: http://www.discogs.com/Blindside-Blindside/release/2188778 http://www.discogs.com/user/olevel <-- the guy that has been selling them
  11. None taken. My interest in pressing a EP does not involve the prospect of ANY profit at this point, either way, the issue isn't so much sales as the resources we have to front for something like this. Thanks for the tip about Musicol though, they seem to have very reasonable prices at a glance.
  12. This thread is fantastic, and I'm sure will come in handy once our band gains some momentum. In the mean time, I'm looking for a few suggestions... I'd love to press our EP on vinyl, and I have some ideas, but we are fucking poor. The EP is too long to fit on a 7" at 18 someodd minutes, so I thought it would be kind of cool to release it as a double 7" in a gatefold sleeve. After asking around, it looks like I'd have to order at least 1000 due to the custom packaging. I'm thinking maybe going DIY on this, make our own jackets, do our own artwork. Has anyone done this, do you guys have any suggestions? Also, does anyone know of anywhere I could go to get a VERY limited run of records? Like, less than 100. Colour/splatter/split colour would be cool, but obviously costly.
  13. not really? I've been involved with booking shows for bands before, and when someone pulls out, an event gets cancelled, you get bumped off the line-up, etc, it really sucks, but you move on. Something like this where you get bumped is really rude/disrespectful, but is usually the fault of the venue. That's why I'm curious if anything was said about the situation.
  14. first off, I dislike green day I agree with most people here, it was more than likely that Foxboro/Green Day was in the area, said 'we're in the area, lets do a show, are there any open venues?' and between their booker/the venue, you got fucked. I am curious how the show went, did Foxboro say anything about the situation? (Or any of the other bands?)
  15. My jealousy is unmatched. Out of curiosity, do you mind telling us how much you paid?
  16. there are pictures on the discog site I linked to, I got the seller to email me the pics before he sold it.
  17. This is a great idea, though I would be concerned about the cover fading from being in the sunlight as well. I wonder if anyone makes UV resistant jackets? I did a quick google search, but came up with nothing.
  18. Yeah, I saw it for the first time on discogs.com the other day, but it was gone before I had a chance to purchase =/
