Got my indie in from RoughTrade today. Observations: 1. I do not normally wet clean new albums before listening (I know I prolly should) but I do a dry clean and have never experienced super bad results/sound quality with my methods. That said, this pressing seems super poppy. Even skipped toward the middle of Out of Mana, which is the first skip I’ve experienced since getting getting a proper turntable setup. 2. Otherwise, the sound is OK. Seems somewhat muddy. The cymbals seem a bit slippy and don’t sound like they can breath fully. 3. Packaging is great. Also, don’t come at me about my system, have a u-turn orbit custom with Sumiko Pearl cart, an old 80s beast of a reciever with preamp and Infinity speakers. Enough to satisfy me with other quality pressings . One more thing, has anyone picked up the black pressing?

My Cities copy wasn’t warped but the jacket is put together a little wonky. Played *Fin last night to compare sound quality and it may jus be me, but this repress seemed to be a quite a bit more distorted than the box set version. Going to compare more this evening, but that may confirm the box sets claim of remastering

Then say you're selling at cost = which NEVER means selling it for literally what you paid for it. Regular VC members know this. If someone snags extras and is willing to sell "at cost" we ALWAYS compensate with a little extra for the favor/effort. But when you upfront say "selling to best offer"...immediate negative connotation.

Although you say you wont sell it for "$500 or something crazy" technically trying to even double or triple your investment is the exact definition of a...FLIPPER

Why not jus sell for what you paid + shipping and small extra fee. Also, what are requirements to be a "legit fan"?
