You guys are crazy, this album is incredible. I love the fact that they aren't just remaking calculating infinity like most of their fans want them to. Even the poppy songs I love. I should have preordered the vinyl.

That's a pretty killer first song to dance to. When I get married I hope to have some sweet music at my wedding. No shitty dj that's for sure. My girlfriend is generally ok with my vinyl collecting I feel bad when I talk to her about it sometimes but she reassures me that my 'nerd talk' is 'endearing'. Plus I don't collect multiple pressings and colors of albums (for the most part) so that's alright too.

Damn "love is dead' by the Mr. T Experience is gone already. How is "revenge is sweet anyone? As good as love is dead?

even if the 1st pressing isn't worth more, the kid that's being asked to trade off his first pressing is getting nothing but a shipping charge out of the deal. I more meant $5 or more depending on if the first pressing is worth more. Also I thought paying for his shipping would go without saying.

Well I'd say since your friend is initiating the trade and is giving a second pressing for a first he should sweeten the deal a little bit. I'd say nothing to much like $5 or whatever (depending on if the first pressing really is worth more). Because the guy with the first pressing is gaining nothing really whereas your friend would obviously prefer to have a first press and therefore is gaining something.

Holy shit, for some reason I avoided checking out this band, they played a show opening for against me and murder by death but got added last min. and I showed up just when they got off stage as doors opened 2 hours before they were supposed to. I can't belelive how awesome they are, I checked out their songs on myspace I may just have to get those albums off of EV.

Where is a good place to start with this band? And would said album be easily optainable on vinyl?

I can't get into The american office, however the british one is amazing. I love that show so much. How about My name is Earl, any fans? I think Season three is great so far (minus the latest episode) and I really like the direction they are going.

well, they're great songs, but you'll end up paying up to $30 to get those LPs. if i had to pick one id say go for the "river runs dry" comp becuase it has some kick ass other bands like the lapse, the farewell bend, blue tip, appleseed cast, euphone, les savy fav, the trans megetti, karate, braid, jejune, make up and painted thin. actually, i just found this but apparently insound has copies for $12.99: http://search.insound.com/search/showrelease.jsp?p=INS16082 I just tried to order it but it says it's "backordered" I also checked some other stuff out on that site that I know are out of print and they say backordered as well. Ah well.

the song on the punk tv comp is "bossum buddies" and the only song thats not on the movie music box set is the live song on the "the river runs dry" lp. In your opinion are those two songs worth going out of my way to get a copy of those albums?

I'm so jealous of that braid collection. What's their song on 'punk tv'? It's not on the movie music comps is it? Also are there any other songs by them not on an lp or the movie music comps?

I'd like to see them again, I saw them on the caution tour opening for the bouncing souls but I only really knew the songs from the punk-o-rama cds at that point, it'd be awesome to see them now.

heh, more like sorry new order really. I still can't beleive this is $200. You could easily buy all the first pressings for less than that. Edit: you could also buy the reissues from that site separately for $90. So you're paying $110 for the box... awesome...

How do these work anyway? I've never owned one. Do you play them in reverse? Are the groves on the album just made a special way? IU read on here that the first dillinger album plays inside out and outside in, how does that work? I assume this is a relatively new process, my dad doesn't beleive me that it's true so I'm trying to find stuff out.
