  1. Yeah they're pretty good. One of the best surprises last year.
  2. New Film in Color is out. Listening to it right now and sounding very good. If you're into Tunnel Blanket era TWDY, this is for you. A Film in Color - They March in Endless Circles
  3. Hahaha was actually listening to Toundra (digitally) just now. Still waiting on my copy (as well as Spurv) from Amazon.ca. I'll let you know how that sounds once I get it.
  4. Wow this is REALLY good. Have been listening regularly over the past few days.
  5. According to what someone from a record shop in Ottawa told me, only on May 4th
  6. New God Is An Astronaut . Haven't listened to it yet but most reactions I've seen are good.
  7. Did anyone receive their Athletics reissue yet? They sent an email out on March 27th saying they would get the records the week after and start shipping but I haven't gotten anything yet here in Canada.
  8. These guys are really good: https://estuaryblacks.bandcamp.com/album/estuary-blacks
  9. From intheclouds last Wednesday: "We're still waiting for them to ship from the pressing plant. Once they get here we plan to turn them around real quick. We'll send out another update to everyone as soon as we have a timeline."
  10. The more I listen to this Man Mountain track the more I love it. The bassline is insane.
  11. I'm in Ottawa. Shipping in Canada really depends but somewhere around 12-16 CAD (somewhere around 9-12 USD). It's expensive.
  12. It's actually the same pricing ($16 USD) to be shipped in Canada. I live 2 hours from Montreal and that shipping is insane!
  13. First great release of 2018. Name sucks, album rules: https://weedpecker.bandcamp.com/album/iii
  14. Post Rock/Metal I enjoyed this year: Sannhet - So Numb Silent Whale Becomes a Dream - Requiem Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Luciferian Towers Appalaches - Cycles Astralia - Solstice Outlander - Downtime b/w Plans This Patch of Sky - These Small Spaces And So I Watch You From Afar - The Endless Shimmering Ranges - The Ascensionist Rosetta - Utopioid Glacier - Though Your Sins Be As Scarlet, They Shall Be White As Snow; Though They Be Red Like Crimson, They Shall Be As Wool Blak - Between Darkness and Light Frequency Eater - Finite States Do Make Say Think - Stubborn Persistent Illusions My Education - Schipol Set and Setting - Reflectionless Shy, Low - Burning Day EP Balmorhea - Clear Language Mogwai - Every Country's Sun
  15. Got mine today. Stoked to spin both records when I get home!
  16. True @Sasan . And another reason is people deal with loss in different ways. While some people would like to come here and talk about it, perhaps some people here actually expressed their feelings to the band directly, to their social media, whatever.
  17. The TRNA album they are pressing is that one from last year (Lose Yourself to Find Peace).
  18. Yes and yes! Love those 2 bands. Also, have you all listened to the 2 new Sannhet songs? I've had a chance to listen to the new album in full and it is so so good, surely one of the best releases this year. Better than Revisionist in my opinion.
  19. Been listening to Cascades a good bit over these last few weeks. More Post-Metal than Post-Rock but definitely good stuff.
  20. I/O's new album is pretty cool. Nice upbeat and positive Post-Rock. I had already quite enjoyed their previous album Saudade. Have also gone back and revisited Black Clouds' Dreamcation. I honestly don't know how I never paid too much attention to this. Managed to snag the record for $5 on Amazon as well.
