Back on the Fallen Empire topic for a sec. I missed out on all 3 Lluvia LPs that they released over the years (was late to the party of listening to that band - fucking great atmospheric metal that you MUST check out.) So then FE was talking about doing a vinyl box set including all 3 albums. I read on the NWN forum that this set would come out whenever FE/Lluvia got around to it. REALLY hoping that actually happens still, because those albums have become must-own material in my book.

@DecayToDeath my LP2 from White1 has a slight warp, haven't spun White2 yet. But yeah, they were both packed pretty tight in one standard LP mailer so I'm assuming that's why. No skips or distortion though.

True, the mix might make more sense in the context of the album. Their previous production qualities have worked great in my ears, so I trust them, I've just been thrown off by it sounding kinda like I downloaded them from Limewire. Pixelated was the only word I could think of!

Blue Line Baby is great. I am curious though, these 2 songs sound quite pixelated & washed out on all streaming platforms (youtube too.) Like they're compressed badly or something. Hoping they don't sound that way on the LP...

Doubtful. Maybe it's become too much of a hassle for just one person to do? The emails have had this vibe going on for a good while. Could be that there just isn't time for it anymore?

Got mine yesterday. I see minimal sway on the tonearm, not noticing any pitch shifting, so that's good. There ARE a few spots with light pops in the pressing, but other than that it's not bad. Wishing the pops weren't there, but otherwise happy with mine.

Praying my copy doesn't arrive warped or off-center. What's with their pressing plant getting these wrong every time?? You'd think they would switch plants or be absolutely certain to fix the issue by now.

Got my loser edition. The A side label says it’s a test pressing? Are most loser editions like this? It’s my first loser edition purchase.

So... I went ahead and picked up the FYE exclusive on my break today. I didn't like Meliora, but I'm willing to at least give this a listen on my stereo and see if I change my mind on it. I think it'll be better than Meliora. Also hoping this thing isn't warped too bad, cause it kinda looks a bit warped. I like the variant tho.

Now, there are individuals on the unofficial facebook page defending BOB and the contracts behind these albums. I don't know. I will probably stay away from these regardless. This sucks!

In regards to the Leviathan reissues on Back on Black: Wrest made an official statement on these releases, how they are basically bootlegs done by BOB, CD quality transferred to vinyl. Yeah, that sucks. Here's the full statement:

@2notepockets I'm fairly certain J.W. is onboard with Monuments. I got First Sublevel from them, took a while to arrive but it's legit. I think they're trying to build some fresh reputation in the community with a huge roster of releases this year. They're offering a lot of cool shit, hopefully it all works out.

I hardly ever buy BOB releases, something about the sources they use to press vinyl seems cheap. I've heard of them doing digital to vinyl, like CD quality shit. Anyway, the only one I wanted is Sublevel. If I do get one, it'll probably be when they get US distribution. @2notepockets is Ascension Monuments planning to reissue Tenth Sublevel?

It's truly one of the best cartridges on the market, has been for many years. I went ahead and ordered a replacement stylus for it, but it seems that most websites are removing their Shure stock quickly since this announcement.

As expected, sold out within the day! This record is so damn good. Judging from how spread out they reissue this album, they always skyrocket in value and possibly won’t be reissued anytime soon. Although, the silver isn’t my favorite color variant. Had to have it though.
