Just for the giggles wanted to know how much shipping was on these. Asked around on other social media and it seems like these are like $62 shipped. Yikes yikes yikes.

I get the sentiment, but absolutely not gonna happen. They’ve sold out of every UO record they’ve put out bc it’s only about 550 records. This being even rarer means it’ll be gone instantly. I’m doing a 8 hour drive today so won’t be picking one up, but just saying.

Yeah Tri-Tripe was basically Fest + A-F Patreon Exclusive because it was sold out before Friday. Then Pink and Color in Color went pretty fast.

Lol yeah these designs are bad. When I saw the announcement I didn’t even realize what albums these were. I thought “What is Tiger? They released an album called “Tiger”?” I already have all the other albums minus Lover, so maybeeee? But clear 2xLP is already $35 on Discogs so what’s the point?

Hmm. Honestly might have gone for that one. Surprisingly $3 cheaper as well, which isn’t a horrible price for a 2xLP these days.

I finally pulled a VC. I didn’t add this to my spreadsheet and almost re-bought this a few weeks ago but stopped myself. Got notification yesterday.

For anyone wondering, you can check the stock of an item. It doesn’t automatically go down to how many are left though. Trick to go high and it will say “You can’t add this many x to your cart.” Then guess how many are left, repeat. Looks like they’ve only sold 100 of the A/B side (~700/800 remain). Since The Starting Line hasn’t even sold out yet, these could be here for a while.

This was my question… like the EPs are some of the more unreleased or under-pressed items, but man do they need represses of a lot more. My guess is they still needed to get rights from the higher ups and they were most willing to part with random EPs as opposed to the albums that went Gold, etc.

I caved a while back and bought an RCM-III. He had it on sale during the pandemic. https://squeakycleanvinyl.com/products/squeakycleanvinyl-mk-iii It’s pretty good. I’ve actually been able to clear up a few skips from records that came that way from the factory. Sometimes skips are just microscopic grains of dust really stuck on there. Pops usually disappear after that. Worth noting that it’s only as good as your vacuum. Was using a very old shop vac. Results were meh. Bought a new one from this decade and completely changed for the better. It’s a little DIY, but I like that about it. The owner used to have all the files up to 3D print yourself but haven’t seen them in a while. Nonetheless, would be easy to model yourself if you’re already thinking about that.
