  1. No they probably will. Hopeless streams every album, so either today or tomorrow..... I haven't gotten a confirmation from MerchNow that my order is going to ship. I ordered this thing right at midnight, so no clue how I'm so far down the list....
  2. Sound like there will be 2,500 copies of this 2xLP on Blue Marble split between whichever package you choose and then a retail version because note that he says (webstore exclusive)... Also, FML!!!!! I've been waiting for all the recent represses and suddenly I have zero extra money. I literally started a second job just so I could afford the Juturna 3xLP, the UO 2xLP repress, and now I have to add this to the list.... (plus theres still the new TWIABP record I need to PO). Since when did I have to pay $150 for 3 albums....?
  3. Well I'm just thinking of all this because I'm broke as chalk so $30 is $30..... You could find someone who's going to a show already, send them the cash to purchase VIP and pick up all the stuff for you, then ship it. Make their day by getting to meet SF/Silverstein and you day by saving ~$35-40
  4. So after looking through al the dates, the three at HOB (Chicago and Anaheim and Cleveland) have the cheapest VIP packages (because they don't include tickets) so if you really just want the 7" that might be the solution.... EDIT: Ft. Lauterdale has the same prices as well..... EDIT EDIT: and Bogart's in OH and Electric Factory in PA
  5. Yeah just saw this on Modern-Vinyl, not too stoked..... although if you really are in a penny pinch I noticed that you don't actually have to buy GA to get the 7". You can buy just the package and get all the stuff, you just can't got to the show or the meet and greet. I've personally met Buddy a ton of times so I probably wouldn't mind actually..... Hope theres a general release of this later, because that's pretty ridiculous. also just realized some dates have cheaper packages than others so if you go the route mentioned above, then find the cheapest date (at the HOB in Anaheim it's $82 and $137 for the (platinum and Diamond packages respectively).
  6. Yeah would love a copy of this too butttttt...... I think for pretty much everyone, just go searching in Goodwill/Flea Markets/Dumpsters/wherever people get rid of their old records these days. Just got to find one without crazy scratches and then you can clean it for maximum power!
  7. It looks like his copy of Blurryface is sold out but just wanted to give him a shout-out. If you ever want something later check his store. He purchases 2 of a lot of things as an "Anti-Flipper", he sells them at the same price he got them at. VC helping people out. http://md2ndchance.storenvy.com/?page=1
  8. Just you..... (sike!)no it does, but then again it was recorded on a super budget. They say it has been "remastered for the format" so hopefully they did some kind of mastering to it, but I'm fine with butt-ness. Not a huge fan of inaudible lyrics though.... theres a lot of shoe gaze bands these days where even as I'm reading the lyrics I can't believe thats what it says because the lyrics are at like -2,000 dB.
  9. Hopefully they find their way to the west coast soon. Ive been wanting to see them and Sorority Noise but they tend to stick to the East coast (but will see SN in October at Chain Reaction).
  10. So theres 4 and/or 9 variants for this album thus far? The regular pre-order color of red with splatter, the HT Tri-Color, the retail "Turquoise", then the 6 Warped Tour Exclusives on Blue with splatter? Do you think they actually sold all the copies from Warped? Because I would still love to grab one of them. I know the last week you could purchase any of them, which means that they didn't sell a single weeks worth.
  11. I really feel you man. They have this way of growing up with you or something. I picked up The Upsides and listened to it 3 times in a row when I heard it. I like the evolution as opposed to bands like TSSF that sound exactly the same as the first album....
  12. So after 6 months of waiting I think I'm fine with issuing a verdict on Mahogany Records. Mostly it's just advice to everyone else. If a distro/small label doesn't appear to be active, don't order from them. I was doing some googling and found that Mahogany Records still had some copies of the You, Me, & Everyone We Know album "Some Things Just Don't Wash Out" going for the original sale price. Even though this was the only item on their webstore I decided to jump. I got an automated response with an order number that made me think they were still active but two months later, nope. So I went searching for how I could contact them. Sent a message through Facebook and a few days later he did indeed answer saying that he was in the process of moving and that he would ship it when that was through. Well 4 months later, still nothing in my hands. It was only like $13 with shipping and everything but.......... When I get money I guess I'll buy it from a flipper despite that he still has copies sitting on his shelf......
  13. YO! New music video for "Cigarettes and Saints" Just FYI it's reallllllyyyy good! https://youtu.be/3hbcBrsUuz4 With my civic duty now out of the way, this song is really interesting as you'll see. The changes in tempos back and forth are done quite well. Starting with the second slow part, Matt gets on and plays a second drum kit, while Dan grabs a guitar and plays the rest of the song. The lyrics give me the absolute feels.....
  14. In other words.... no one cared enough to buy out any single week of sleeves and they now have them all at the end. Sucks I didn't realize Hopeless had a different bundle (shame on you guys). Hope these go up online maybe.
  15. Here's to hoping that the 3xLP doesn't sell out too quick..... I have like zero extra cents right now but really want a copy of this.
  16. BTW anyone know if theres something hidden in the long "empty" groove on side B? I realized that rather than being flat it does go on until the center of the record, but didn't have 15+ minutes to wait and find out. I tried queuing it in several places and didn't hear anything but don't know....
  17. No I really would like the feature. The store closest to me is super small and usually only gets 0-1 copies of the new stuff, and usually later than everyone else. So I always have to call them, they tell me "no", then I call the second store, they say "we'll have some in a week", third store "we have them now." Then I drive 50 miles to that store, spending the same cost of the record in gas..... they can add the feature.
  18. Are you making a joke or want to know if the NFG records are $7?
  19. Since we're discussing artistic/legal issues, maybe you guys could elaborate on the logic behind something I've been wanting to do. I've been wanting to create custom inserts for several records that I want the lyrics to but didn't come with them. This is true for all the Dance Gavin Dance records and things like the new TDWP-Dear Love..../Plagues reissues etc. If I created and printed one just for myself would this be inappropriately using an artists work (that is, if I copied fonts/artistic themes of the original packaging)? Given the impossibility of shipping an insert alone without it getting destroyed, if I simply gave the file free of charge to others to order a print themselves, would this be illegal? Let me know what you think.
  20. Yeah would never have a variant collection myself..... props and condolences to anyone that does that. I'm trending towards being a Discography collector, which right now is only for bands I care about and that don't have some huge list of items.
  21. If I didn't care about sleeve quality my store would be a dream. The employees are pretty ruff on their records. They had 4 sealed copies of some NFG records for $7 because the sleeves were a wreck. They also had a Daytrader album that was completely open and had the price tag on the sleeve, but only $5!
  22. Yeah.... pretty sure everyone just didn't want to wait. As soon as people started receiving them, they all went bye bye..... how much are they being flipped for on eBay at this point?
  23. Ok yeah, so after listening to the official song and not from the other link, don't think it's that different either. US orders where are you?
  24. Hmmmm..... BTW for listeners at the link posted on the first page, it's (broken?) and just loops like 1 minute of the same thing. So don't judge from that. I'm not usually a fan of something on the first listen either. I've gotten better at listening to a record 2-3 times before I disapprove. I'm going to say I like this one. I really like "The Bones of What You Believe" but my gripe with it is that the songs don't vary in structure enough for me. Lots of hooks and choruses on that album. Mother we share is like 76% (est.) chorus. So with these first two tracks, I'd have to say that I like them just because they seem to have longer verses that may allow Lauren to change things up a bit (she already did) and vary tones and what-nots to create a better all around atmosphere for the album. We'll see. That's my very non-musical review.....
