hello hello.  so i got the job i had applied for last week!!!!!!!  Pretty nervous about it since I start in a few weeks and I need to relocate. But maybe this will be a good thing. It's 12 weeks as an intern and if i do well, it's very possible I could be offered a fulltime spot.  i am very very very nervous. 

Holy bananas, Turnover, mewithoutYou, and Circa Survive were so fucking great.

Same here. I have needed new ones for a while, probably 3 years or more since my last eye exam, but they somehow keep getting pushed back in priority. My prescription hasn't changed that much honestly, but the anti reflective is pealing in 3 places on my left lens so I constantly think they are dirty on one side  

I'm short, really skinny, and wear girl jeans and makeup. I always look like an easy target to dudes like that. At no point did I stop moshing, even when he punched me in the head.  Which makes it even funnier that he got up and just left.
 
It's an important lesson to learn. For one, don't go to shows to hurt people but also, don't fuck with the effeminate dude in the pit. Chances are pretty good that dude is used to that shit and will handle it.

Moshed last night and everything hurts. Some dude was randomly punching people for no reason, hit me, and I completely annihilated him. So that was funny. Twice my size and went down so hard he just left the venue when he got up 

Dude, I slept on and off all day, then slept for fifteen hours last night. I'm a new man. Cold ain't keepin' me down. The lady and I are exploring Hamstead this afternoon. And by the way, we'll have Thursday - Sunday off, so we should get together for pints.

Spent the last couple days remodeling my office / record listening / storage area. Still a couple smaller things to do, like waiting for my 7" wooden boxes, new speakers and a couple more frames to arrive, but this is pretty much it.

I wish I had known sooner so I could have planned to go next Friday to the show in Raleigh, so I could save 2 hours of driving, but a mid week show usually means no shoulder to shoulder bullshit. Time to see exactly how "40ish" I feel at this one lol
