Yeah, all three of the new tracks on this EP are fantastic. The Heart That Fed may be my favorite, though. Really blew me away on the first listen. For those who didn't know, it also incorporates the winning music-box melody from the contest they held a year ago. Oh, and for those who're interested (and also pre-ordered), digital downloads went out this morning.

I'd say that I listen to more instrumental bands compared to groups with vocalists, these days. And of the bands you listed, I am confident that if each one released a completely new song, I could identify who wrote what with minimal effort. I really don't understand how any of them are copying one another. There are maybe a few similarities between early Caspian and early TWDY, but that's about it. Other than that, you'd have to be outright silly to think that the crunchy riffs of ITTCT sound anything like the hyper guitars of ASIWYFA, or the piano-driven bangers of Maybeshewill, or the borderline-drone of TWDY. Just my two cents, anyway. And of the list, I've only seen ASIWYFA, but I thought they killed it. Tons of energy and a sound that rivals their studio performance in clarity. But different strokes for different folks, right?

Get outta' here m8. It's okay if the genre isn't your thing, but of all the world's talentless bands to shit on...?

Quality of content and lulz are about equal.

Online, what does it matter? We're all here because of music in some form or another. Doesn't seem like that has to be gender specific, really.

A couple of quick things. 01. This leaked. 02. It is pretty incredible. 03. Maybe the best EP I've heard this year. (Though there haven't been too many.) 04. Even the bonus songs are a treat.

No argument there. But unless I'm mistaken, these are the first "limited edition" (colored) variants to be released in quite some time, yes? I know black copies of JD and ATF have been in stock for a while now.

Anyone else feel all warm and tingly when they think about a new Converge listener hearing Jane Doe for the very first time? Particularly when they throw on side A side J and drop the needle for the very first time? Mmm.

Yeah, I was assuming that Ghostly would be a little cheaper... but after shipping is factored in, I think it's the most expensive route yet. Oof. I have no doubt that the quality of the product will be worth it - anyone who owns Dive can probably agree with that sentiment - but it looks like Amazon is probably going to be the best bet.

Being that these represses have been in demand for a while now, I'd only assume they pressed (at least) a couple of thousand copies for each record. I could be entirely wrong, but I imagine they'll be in stock for a while.

Definitely. Behind AWLWLB, I think ATF may be the best entry point for new listeners.
