Completely agree with all of this, minus the expectation to find myself in the Seller's Remorse thread. The truth is that it feels so good to whittle down the collection into what's relevant. There were some releases that I simply have no interest in hearing for a long, long while... and once I removed them from my iTunes, I realized that I no longer had any real attachment. Even if I'm selling an LP at base price (or even taking a hit on it), it still feels great to cross it off the collection, and become one step closer to a collection of music that is 100% relevant to my current tastes. It also helps that a lot of my high-school / guilty pleasure records have been pretty easy to sell.

I can only presume this is the board's word filter operating in all of its glory.

Apologies if I've misinterpreted and caused alarm, but that's the gist of what I've gathered -- especially from the first post atop this page. I wonder if they only do that when a canceled item reduces the total to < $35, thus negating the free shipping. It'd be lovely if a $50+ order was left intact even if a single $8.00 LP was canceled.

Same deal. 3 of my 18 are still in stock, but I think it's a bummer that an entire order will get canceled if one item is out. I understand that there are a ton of orders to process, so I'm doing my best to sit tight and not "worry" about it, until I get an official e-mail of some sort. Fingers are certainly crossed though.

Not only is that bullshit in and of itself, but it also exceeds the "30 day from purchase" rule on eBay... and that's also assuming it gets released right on time. Obviously the kid is glued to VC as a member or a guest; either way, I hope the little twat somehow misses the release. Or that the variant turns out differently from what he described, and his buyer handles it like a real dick. Unbelievable.

Completely with you on that one. Splits are perhaps my least favorite colorway... I'm much more on board with an A/B + C/D variation, like you said.

It's a pretty sweet variant; I like that nice, even "split" down the middle. Considering all the variants this record has seen, I'm surprised no one has bothered with a half-and-half split. You know... like polarizing opposites. (e.g., good and bad, the devil and god, etc.)

Looks like The Hurry and the Harm is getting the Christmas-wax treatment. I wonder if that kid posts at VC. If not, he'd fit right in.
