Since I'm getting married this year I decided to try not to spend a single dollar on a record for as long as I could. I've sold dozens and dozens of items I just didn't listen to enough to warrant keeping and I'm on a strict only-use-Paypal-funds regimen. It's gone well. I've trimmed the fat from my collection and obtained some sought-after white elephant items while not spending a dime of "new" money.

Do all boots have a glossy lightweight sleeve as well? I originally thought the UK press had "Hot Fuss" on the front in foil but I think I was wrong about that.

Sorry to revive an ancient thread, but does anyone have more info on the UK light blue Hot Fuss original pressing(s)? I've found a somewhat fairly-priced copy and it's not numbered. I've seen people on Discogs mention that unnumbered copies exist. Any tell-tale signs I can look for that it's not a boot?

I picked up the In Rainbows box a few weeks ago and will finally give it a spin this weekend, can't wait. And your comment about Feral sorta sold the newspaper edition to me. I was on the fence about spending the extra money for that version but it sounds worth it.

I had to double-check this... Jesus H. Christ...

Mine was certainly wrapped a bit loose and there are a couple ultra-minor corner dings. The packaging sorta rests funny, too, like a book that won't close all the way. But damn do I like how this thing turned out. I love the cover's texture and all of the spot finishing, not to mention what color the vinyl would up being. Good stuff.

Yeah that made me think twice for a second but I still pulled the trigger. TV was definitely my least favorite of theirs but I still liked a bunch of tracks off of it. But agreed entirely - their live act is one of the best I've ever seen. Hilarious and their sound is spot-on.
