I have a shameful aversion to female singers as well, so for the first couple of tracks I kept feeling like my interest in the album would fade. Held strong throughout.

Yup. I listened to the album several times yesterday and ordered the wax. I like it more than some of Ty's own output, including Fuzz.

Mine didn't have ring wear but I agree with everything else you said. The tight housing is one of my most common annoyances these days, but besides that this entire release is gorgeous. Sounds fantastic too.

Anyone know where to obtain a copy of Cosmos on wax? They barely seem to cross eBay or Discogs. Dying to find one.

NOV put their black copies up on Monday I believe. Not sure how they divied up the quantities between vendors.

I dig the silver! Nice. My deluxe from CT came today - don't know how much I like the lenticular cover but it's a nice touch. The album's scoring so-so reviews (I vastly prefer Nocturne) but I'm still really loving it.

Waiting isn't outrageous - but they've built quite a solid reputation of not being able to deliver anywhere close to the times they state on preorders. I've experienced more delayed labels as well, it's just annoying. Best thing they can do is offer as much transparency as possible.

They assured me "end of February" on Twitter. Right.
