I don't need to justify my equipment to anyone, if I knew sharing my setup here would lead to this I would have just kept it to myself. Also, it's awfully ironic that your post originally ended with "grow up" yet you're going through downvoting my posts, all because you don't approve of my record player, which led me to start downvoting yours in the first place.
Please oh please, I beg you to reconsider purchasing my records when I inevitably put them up for sale because I absolutely need your approval and acceptance. Woof.

I'm not saying you're a bad person, but you buying my records was never a concern and the whole comment was just sort of out of left field. Like I mentioned above, I'm well aware my Crosley isn't optimal and I'm working on upgrading as soon as possible.

Who said I planned on selling you my records though? No need for elitism.
 
 
I'm trying... it's hard, I'm doing better lately though! I have the setup I want put together as a bundle on Turntable Lab, just to get a general price, and it comes to about $1200 before shipping. I figure I can save a few hundred if I'm able to find parts used but in acceptable condition.
 
I know my Crosley isn't optimal, but it'll do until I can afford something better. I'm excited to finally upgrade though! The Pro-Ject Carbon definitely sounds like a great choice, I've heard it's the best audiophile quality turntable you'll get for under $1k. Any suggestions as far as amp/pre-amps go? I admit I don't really know much about them yet.

As for betting money on who will die... I hate to ruin your guys fun, but I'd be careful with that. I follow a (pretty large) community that posts spoilers of the episodes every week (sometimes earlier if they get something juicy) and I can almost promise you that people like me will know who gets the big death in the finale before it actually airs. Not to say I plan on participating or would do that, but some might.

Seemed weird people I'm friends with on social media were cheering Maggie and Carol on when clearly neither of them want to be about that life anymore. Perhaps Morgan is rubbing off on her somewhat (i.e. Carol baking cookies for everyone like everything is gonna be ok, being scared of what she knows she's capable of doing, etc).
Donnie dies at the end because if he never leaves his bed and gets crushed by the jet engine his girlfriend doesn't get hit by a car and he doesn't murder Frank. He also let's a pedophile not get caught up by doing this. It's a pretty fucked up movie when you think about it.

You guys are the best. Can't wait to hook my new Crosley up to some Sony boom box speakers. You think I'll need a separate phono pre (too lazy to read the beginners thread)?

I'm going to generously donate my old Crosley to Seafinch as soon as I upgrade, because clearly that would be a step up or two from his Thorens.

Just watching them record made me nervous haha

To be fair, the title is called "The Walking Dead" not "The Walking Dead (TV Series)" and I don't think it's that unfair of us to discuss the comic series just a little bit too. It's not like we're coming here to discuss it every time an issue drops, the way people do when a new episode comes out every week, we're just acknowledging that we do know what happens in the comics and that's fine. You're welcome to go read them, nobody is stopping you. And I'll say it again, since it's been said before, talking about events from the comics aren't spoiling anything in the show because there is no guarantee it will happen in the show. Talking about Negan's arrival isn't a spoiler, it's public knowledge that he's coming whether you've read the books or not.
Seems kinda selfish/immature to try and limit other people's discussions because you don't feel like taking the initiative to read the books. Get over it.

Ended up just taking my refund and putting it towards buying The Upsides (Deluxe) and Suburbia on Ebay. Spent twice as much as I would have here, but at least none of it went to this shitshow.

I will give him credit where it's due though, when it came time to get my refund he was very cooperative and helpful. It really is such a shame to see NSR going down this road after having supported them for years. 

All the reactions of the cast members to filming the finale has me hyped/nervous haha.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I ended up with a spare Life is Strange record. I'll give it away on here soon, once i work out how to do it fairly.

I am in the process of ditching my Crosley and putting together my first hi-fi setup! I recently purchased a like-new pair of AKG Q 701 headphones and just this morning I got a great deal on a NAD C352 amp with some upgrades.

So your coming into a thread that has been around for years where no one has had an issue of putting comic spoilers into a spoiler tag. Then you act like your beliefs are in the majority when you are the only one who thinks this, then act like a prick about it. Then make up arguements that dont help your point because there is no validity in them.
You actually spent more time bitching and moaning then it would have taken you to put something in spoilers ( whatever amount of time you spent crafting your dumb comments compared to 1 second to put something in spoilers)

this thread has been going for 5 years and we haven't had issues with people who've read the comics using the spoiler tags.
