  1. To be fair I'd love a box set of all the Sparklehorse stuff that's out there. Some of its pretty hard to come by especially Dreamt For Lightyears... which as far as I'm concerned is massively under rated. The only thing that is consistently everywhere is the Sparklehorse/Danger Mouse collab which has some good stuff but also quite a lot of duds.
  2. I've used Pledge quite a lot over the years albeit begrudgingly and can confirm that the items always ended up being more expensive through them then at retail. Most of the bands I've supported through there have either ditched the platform already (Vennart, British Theatre) or disappeared entirely off the map (My Vitriol, iLiKETRAiNS, Sucioperro). Thankfully I don't have any money currently tied up with them having received my last item in October. It may be that kickstarter isn't very user friendly for overseas acts as most of the bands I've seen use Pledge are UK/EU acts but I don't really know. Pledge did allow people the chance to do some inventive things, one band had the offer of meeting them at a pub for a game of scrabble but the world can live without that I imagine. Strikes me that most of you are probably on point that it catered to mostly bands that were once on a label be it big or small and were too uncertain as to handle all the other parts of their business. Even the little guys I supported through it were on labels several years before the record industry took a tumble.
  3. You are a constant gent @mesi Been checking rough trade's UK site since this was announced.
  4. Yes I did, was listed as LP+ on the rough trade website with a bonus cd. I'm based in the UK so it may be that people overseas may be waiting a little longer but I don't know. I'm guessing it'll get there tomorrow or Wednesday based on previous experiences with Rough Trade.
  5. I have Dark Shores on blue and Darker Shores anyway I was just saying it'd be nice for all of those late to the party but thanks for looking anyway. Frustratingly still haven't found an EU/UK distro for this yet so if anyone has any leads let me know. Weird Ways is brilliant.
  6. Just got word from Rough Trade my copy is en route so may actually get it before the Friday release date. Possibly getting this before overseas folk so will try and update you guys regarding the content of the bonus cd, I'm guessing it'll be some live recordings. May update on sound quality but I'm far from an audiophile so take my words/recommendation at your own peril.
  7. That second single isn't as bad as the Hayley Williams guest spot had me thinking it would be. Still an odd choice as far as guests go in my book but I can live with it.
  8. Samesies. Spanish Sahara on TLF is great, otherwise its Antidotes or nothing over here too.
  9. According to an instagram story on the flenser's home page Planning For Burial's Below The House is getting a 3rd pressing and the first 50 come with a 16 page zine. No idea what colour yet but I'd bet it won't be black.
  10. I got the reissues of Cursive's Such Blinding Stars for Starving Eyes and Storms Of Early Summer: Semantics of Song. I reckon anyone who wanted these albums probably already has the files but if you want them DM me and I'll oblige. Going to start sending downloads through DM's exclusively from here on out, tired of lurkers who don't even have the decency to say what they've used.
  11. Loving this album but it was never going to disappoint me. Managed to snag a signed indie blue for about £22 delivered too which was sweet.
  12. Earache sent out an email with the following deets: Godflesh As much as it's the 30th anniversary no extra bells or whistles in the product description and surely everyone who wants this has it by now? Municipal Waste Cathedral Morbid Angel
  13. Still not had much in the way of luck finding an EU distro carrying this yet and I saw on FB he said they were close to selling out on the bundles/white. I'm just waiting on roughtrade's UK site to catch up which I'm sure it will in time, happy with to just get a black copy. Got tickets for the show in May which should be nice haven't seen him since the first round of HEAL dates so that should be good, although nothing will top seeing him play St. Pancras Old church.
  14. It wasn't what I was expecting but I'm getting a real 90's vibe and I'm so happy to be in the sub now because this whilst being announced ahead was a total shot in the dark. Makes me hopeful for the other unannounced projects. If one of them is Wreck & Reference I'll be over the moon, and it's been about the right amount of time between albums. No real intel, just a guess.
  15. Elizabeth Colour Wheel - NOCEBO pre-orders are available now and the first track "23" is a belter IMO. Available on black, Milky clear with oxblood splatter and the same milky clear with oxblood splatter with additional screen printed cover. Bandcamp: https://elizabethcolourwheel.bandcamp.com/ US : https://nowflensing.com/collections/new-to-the-flenser-store/products/elizabeth-colour-wheel-nocebo-lp EU: https://deathwishinc.eu/collections/the-flenser Flenser membership version is milky clear with oxblood colour in colour and members might want to check their emails for a 10% discount off distributed web-store items and clothing. Discount codes are tied to your personal email.
  16. I'd pay a good price for that. It'd be nice if they reprinted Pope Killdragon and Dark Shores for all the folk that missed out too.
  17. If memory serves they did a pink one for hard love too so im pretty confident itll happen.
  18. Id wager you're right the stoner swirl hard love became available outside the bundle down the line too. I'm guessing theres also the likelihood of a secretly society subscriber colour down the line too.
  19. I know its cos I spent a few minutes putting pictures n blurb etc. @jhulud feel free to lock this sucker up or remove it.
  20. Shit I just duped this cos as usual I was fiddling with it for too long.
  21. Whilst his records seem to have been creating diminishing returns for some of us, I'm still probably in for this provided I can source a reasonably priced EU distro. The blurb: This record wasn't supposed to be here. I had thought for a moment Strand of Oaks might be over until a text from my friend, Carl Broemel, changed all that. Unbeknownst to me, four members of My Morning Jacket and Kevin Ratterman booked studio time to record songs I didn't think I’d ever write. But they believed I could and pulled me back from the brink. At last, the songs came–and quickly morphed into everything I've ever worked toward as this band. These ten songs are about existing and continuing on, a testament to the hope that even if we feel like we are disappearing, there is that glimmer of light. You may not come out the same person you started as, but that'sokay. I'm glad this record is here now for whoever chooses to find it. Welcome to Eraserland, where we all can start again. ~tim Tracklist: 1. Weird Ways 2. Hyperspace Blues 3. Keys 4. Visions 5. Fires 6. Moon Landing 7. Ruby 8. Wild And Willing 9. Eraserland 10. Forever Chords Available on standard black double lp or in cloudy white in a bundle. Double LP. Scheduled for release 22nd March 2019. https://www.secretlystore.com/eraserland-strand-of-oaks Will post an EU link once I've got one.
  22. Oh that makes more sense, there's none really near me and I haven't really been following it closely.
  23. Now HMV has bitten the dust they're having a clearance online, weirdly its not as cheap as I was expecting in some cases. Seems like much of it has been picked over and sold out still might be something in there for some of you: https://store.hmv.com/the-big-sale/the-big-sale-music?sort=most_relevant desc&quantity=24&page=1&view=grid&categories=format&format=Vinyl%2B12"%2BAlbum Not everything is in the sale too which I find odd, unless they are planning on keeping the online part of the business going.
  24. Was a bit fiddly getting the overseas thing to work but I did it. R.I.P credit card.
  25. I asked about them doing this a few years back when I had a lot more money to throw around. If somehow they manage to extend this into their distribution deal with Throatruiner in the EU I'll definitely stump up the cash. If not I'll get whatever HANL n Drowse versions I can.
