  1. Yeah neither did mine. Bit of a bummer but happy to have picked the thing up for a semi reasonable price in the UK.
  2. Small world I think I just responded to you on a buddies photo of The Glow Pt. 2. I'm captain_of_lies on insta, only got it to signal boost a photography buddy but occasionally take photos of what I'm spinning or any paintings I've done just so I don't seem like a spambot.
  3. Cursive - Vitriola http://bsmrocks.bandcamp.com/yum ahdy-6qb5
  4. Does make me want them to reissue the others even more, the level of quality at that price point is bonkers when i consider how many so-so albums I've spent £25 or more on.
  5. Just scored a Manchester Orchestra- Black Mile Demos, anyone know if it comes with a download? Not the end of the world if not.
  6. Bringing this back from the dead as Music On Vinyl just snuck out a reissue of Carver City last month which I spotted going for under £20 at banquet. Didn't hear anything about it and just saw Chad & Co in London where they had no vinyl at the merch stand. I suppose with 96 Bitter Beings dropping Camp Pain at the tail end of November and CKY releasing that EP for Black Friday its possible this was put out without either sides of the original line-up knowing, which whilst not ideal at least may have prevented it being tangled up in a royalty dispute forevermore. It's limited to only 1000 numbered copies and it's on 180g yellow/orange mix. Link here: https://www.banquetrecords.com/cky/carver-city/MOVLP2275C It's definitely not my favourite CKY album but a non picture disc pressing at a reasonable price point was hard to argue with. *EDIT* I should've read the tail end of the previous page I'm sure all you guys who were interested have already copped this. Sorry.
  7. Yeah. Sorry I mean Yeah yeah yeah yeeeeeeaaaaahhhhh yeeeaaaaah yeeeeeaaah
  8. I figured it wouldn't be too bad after all it's still an American Football song first and foremost. Still an odd choice for a partner to duet with.
  9. One track is enough for me too. That guest spot is the only thing about this album I'm even slightly concerned I won't like as Paramore are very much not my thing.
  10. After listening to the single I was tempted to go buy back for a bundle with the splatter n hoody and offer you my stand alone splatter but alas its gone off the page entirely.
  11. I think that's how the handle their orders, I don't order from them often enough to really say.
  12. No worries. I'm curious as to what goodies will be on the bonus CD and after listening three times start to finish ended up going for the blue with the cd even though this is totally the wrong side of Christmas.
  13. I was so close to certain on mine but last Friday saw so much good stuff drop that I'll have to seriously reconsider my orders of preference. So heres a disorganised list of albums I've enjoyed. Drowse - Cold Air Mount Eerie - Now Only Eliza Shaddad - Future Floating Room - False Baptism Dead Meadow - The Nothing They Need Remote Viewing - Blood Loss Sonance - To Possess You Entirely Ex:Re - Ex:Re Emma Ruth Rundle - On Dark Horses Big Lad - Pro Rock Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs Cursive - Vitriola Author & Punisher - Beastland Vennart - To Cure A Blizzard On A Plastic Sea
  14. Couldn't find any threads for it but if memory serves Daughter have had threads for each of their last albums and their soundtrack for before the storm was quite sought after on RSD last year so I figured a bunch of you would be interested in this. Digitally dropped 30/12/18. Vinyl expected in February. I've already listened to it a few times through and it's great. Here's the blurb: Elena Tonra, guitarist, vocalist and lyricist of Daughter with her solo project. Running parallel to Daughter, she’s assumed the pseudonym Ex:Re (pronounced ex ray) for her eponymously-titled debut solo album, a deeply personal record that was made with both a sense of urgency and a cathartic need. Tonra’s candid solo songs document the time after a relationship ended and are written like unsent letters to herself and others. Taking on a creative moniker, she chose Ex:Re to mean ‘regarding ex’ and also X-Ray as a way to look inside and see what is really there. Writing took a year but the recording process lasted mere months, turning to Fabian Prynn (4AD’s in-house engineer and producer) and composer Josephine Stephenson on cello to help bring Ex:Re to life. Elena said of the album, “Although the record is written for someone, a lot of the time it’s about the space without that person in it. In every scenario, there's either the person in memory or the noticeable absence of that person in the present moment. I suppose it is a break-up record, however I do not talk about the relationship at all, and he hardly features in the scenes. He is only felt as a ghostly presence.” LP - Black Vinyl with Download and Bonus CD. LP+ - Rough Trade Exclusive. Limited Blue Coloured Vinyl with Download and Bonus CD. This is the only Coloured Vinyl Version Available. UK Preorder: https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/music/ex-re-ex-re US Preorder: https://www.roughtrade.com/us/music/ex-re-ex-re
  15. Finally got round to listening to this at the weekend, really like it but at only 24 minutes in total I'm questioning whether I really need it on vinyl.
  16. SONANCE just dropped a new album last Friday with practically no warning. Vinyl is being handled by Truthseeker music n not scheduled until early march but the album is pay what you want digitally. https://sonance.bandcamp.com/album/to-possess-you-entirely
  17. Good to know. I only dove in so fast on those two just in case. Wouldn't forgive myself if I missed those two.
  18. Seeing em then too. Gran Turismo and Long Gone Before Daylight were immediate orders. The others I may wait n pick up if they land domestically.
  19. Sets a total steal at that price
  20. Yeah sturdy gatefold with embossed silver numbers on the back panel, poly lined inner sleeves 8 page lyric book with some associated album photos and a near 12" by 12" print of the cover sans the typography. Sound quality is really ace and it may be up there with my best sounding records. 180 gram for most of us doesn't mean much and silver may seem at odds with their love of all things green but I have to say this is one of the most beautiful re-issues I've gotten my hands on this year.
  21. Second disc is a lot choppier than the first, the actual album plays on par with my beat up original. Had a few jumps on disc 2 but i literally dusted it a bit n now its playing fine.
  22. This EU press sounds absolutely pristine. Bloody gorgeous too. God I hope we get more of their stuff reissued.
  23. Aye its not a bad job by any means last week I literally spent two hours making origami for a display....
