  1. Same. Mine's still in the tube. Can't remember which version/color it is though. I won the chance to buy it in a lottery situaish run by Mondo/Stout. Very odd.
  2. Sweet Christmas. My pre-coffee brain totally conflated the two. Post edited, but my overall sentiment still stands. PS - Figgy, you are not allowed to correct me today; you thought Halloween was October 29th. That makes us Brothers in brain death.
  3. Unfortunately, this is the kind of release that works very well for me in film, but will rarely, if ever, get a spin on its own. I've purchased several scores of this ilk over the years and, after watching them collect dust, have made the decision to put that money towards other things*. *things=records
  4. Same here. Aside from the D&D and Eggos, my local is trumpeting Black, Clear, and Smoke variants. Won't have mine until Friday, but I hope they are in there. I understand this line of thinking completely, but there are still so many reasons for folks to not rely on streaming services to have digital copies of the LPs we buy. For example, many of my LPs simply aren't on Spotify, etc. Some artists and labels just don't do business with some/any streaming services. Another reason is connectivity. I often vacation or hike and drive in areas with spotty/no/expensive signals; streaming just doesn't work for me there and, often, that's one of the places I want that music the most.
  5. I bought SNDTRK and the latest Death Waltz giallo release. No shipping yet, but I think you hit the nail on the head; they just wrapped Mondocon. Funny to think it wasn't so long ago when it could take Mondo weeks to fill an order for products they had in house. That's a definite area of improvement for them.
  6. All this new shit coming to light does not make me regret my decision to pick up the season sets from Amazon for less than $25 a piece.
  7. Not a huge poster guy, but The Thin Red Line is easily the best Mondo poster I've seen for a long stretch.
  8. And garbage pictures as well. Not even remotely clever or interesting. I wouldn't buy a picture disc anyhow, but that is a sad effort.
  9. Well, then you've won the day, nate. SNDTRK is awesome. If you're into synthwave, Carpenter worship, analog electronics, etc, that thing is a who's who of the cassettes you need to own. And Zoo Folle is bananas good. One of the funkiest jazz library LPs out there. Originals are scarce and regularly sell in the $500-1000 range.
  10. There is only one version of this record. Cherry pie red swirl/marble/blotch/whatever. Nothing is changing. This property is actively managed like the Ghibli release; Mondo has had to get every stage of the sound, art, and packaging approved by the rights holders and Lynch/Badalamenti.
  11. Thanks for posting this, LE. I was unaware of its existence. Cheers.
  12. Love to hear how they each sound when you get around to spinning them.
