  1. Where are you guys seeing that it is only the score? I think that's be grand (I like to keep my scores and my soundtracks separated), but the link refers to the soundtrack and the score.
  2. Nice. Death Waltz tweeted about how much they liked the music from the show a few days back and I was wondere if there was something in the offing. The music is really good. Loads of Giallo and 60s/70s Italian movie music sounds in the score for Luke Cage. Plus Younge is a personal favorite. I do wonder, however, how much of this release will be soundtrack songs and how much will be the actual score.
  3. I surely do understand that distinction, but poor term usage by me and fair point by you. I didn't care much for the BOB Ten mix, but I was heartened to hear your thoughts o the subtle, yet positive, differences in BOB's TOtD mix. I will certainly check it out. I've just recently been convinced to check out the new MMJ It Still Moves mix (by Bob Ludwig, I believe?). I think, for me, I enjoy hearing a new take on an 'old' standard, but rarely (not always) does a new mix supersede the old one for me in the long run.
  4. They have a few digital releases (not sure about physical), but this is definitely the debut physical release of their selftitled album. At least, that's what I've gleaned since yesterday's announcement.
  5. Black vinyl here through Amazon and waiting out the box set details. Side note: apparently I'm not allowed to give "like" to throughbeingcruel. Odd.
  6. Not really. MOV releases are quite affordable Stateside. Even a couple of years ago when the sticker shock was real, a little patience yielded colored editions of all their stuff for under $30. Nowadays, one doesn't even have to wait. See the Bullmoose link above. It is cool that they are affordable for EU folk though. I know the perception is that it's a pretty lopsided affair generally. Ditto. Really, really good. Like they had the plates good. No shit.
  7. I'm very curious to see how the MOV compares to the remaster. I think the MOV sounds really good and I wasn't a huge fan of BOBs Ten remaster so I'm taking a back seat on the reissue. If it doesn't get rave reviews, I'll buy the CD for the extra tracks or pick them up digitally. Of slightly less pertinent interest is the comparison between the MOV and whatever is being packaged with the Best Buy CDs. Hope everyone continues to share.
  8. From the Norman Records page linked upthread: What does "tip" mean here? I don't believe I've heard that term used to describe a vinyl variant before.
  9. Negative. In the 90s, Nickelback was the Gin Blossoms of the 90s.
  10. https://dreamcatalogue.bandcamp.com/album/surreal New CVLTVRE tape. Sounds pretty interesting.
  11. A bit off-topic, but I bought an original Hounds of Love LP and every 12" single release associated with that album in NM condition about seven years ago on The Bay for $25 shipped. Some of the best money I ever spent.
  12. Agreed! Also, I expected some Eno, but they got almost all of his essential pieces in there which is deserved. Not to mention Suzanne Ciani, John Hassell, Steve Roach and Laraaji making the list.
  13. But he didn't attempt to leave Cream for another two years. I'm not saying he didn't say that, I have no idea, but I know Cream didn't try splitting up until May of '68 and didn't actually call it quits until 1969.
  14. So it's just a home recording of Ross humming the theme song in his shower a bunch of times, right?
