  1. Presale tickets for the NW shows sold out instantly haha
  2. I’m in but a bit skeptical. Vern is my favorite bassist of all time and if it’s new music, I dunno how I will process it. I’m sure they found someone good and “replaced” Vern in a respectful manner at least.
  3. I know Criterion Collection did that with copies of their Citizen Kane bluray misprints but haven’t heard of that with records. That’s weird.
  4. I set an alarm for 4am to grab the white but then realized how dumb that was and that the /500 would still be there in the morning. That one is going to look better anyway.
  5. Just looked this up on Spotify and I’m into it. Thanks for the recommendation. Reminds me of an instrumental Rodan or something.
  6. That Wax Teeth song is so similar to Made Up Dreams by Built to Spill that it might as well be a cover in some parts. Album is really good though.
  7. The Hades one is even more nuts. Sold for $680 on Discogs.
  8. Brooklyn Vegan has the box in stock. https://shop.brooklynvegan.com/products/jesu-jesu-5lp-box-set-deluxe?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=megadeth JESU (WPRRR2)&_kx=KLQaTdSs5GQEvfhJCc2XW4_hNdyMw_5NxKHw4OgABYyC83vrOT8oaDkxOH3mMXG3.VQcnFn
  9. I always assumed this project was more known just as Blood Moon and not Converge ft. Chelsea Wolfe. I haven’t really thought of this album as a Converge album but that is probably just me. I would be far more into it if Chelsea Wolfe wasn’t involved. Do not like her at all these days.
  10. I’m gonna sit on it a little bit before deciding if I want to pay that for this or not. I think I have until the 30th and will pass the code on to someone on here if I decide not to get it. And unrelated but has anyone else been having a huge problem with those “popups” that kick you off the site and bring you to their page? Holy fuck this place has been a shithole for months because of it. It took me 10 minutes just to write this comment because of it. I thought they would have fixed it by now but it’s still going strong.
  11. I didn’t catch that this is $77 shipped to the US. What the fuck…
  12. So tempted to grab the bundle and might just go for it. Is the green Codeine the rarer of the two?
  13. I didn’t even think to check the tracklist until you said something and am slightly bummed that Vacancy and Kitchen Light aren’t on there. Still super solid. I’m really excited to hear the version of Realize.
  14. I’m not an audiophile by any means and just needed some decent bookshelf speakers so my son can’t knock them over. I grabbed the Klipsch RP-600Ms after hearing really good things.
  15. All of them have been released in some form so far. A couple are songs that came out with the bonus stuff when the reissues happened.
  16. No kidding. These guys were so far ahead of their time it isn’t even funny and this version just highlights it. Everything is so punchy and pleasing as hell to listen to. The tone is just so perfect on every instrument. I really wish they’d do one last tour. I saw them a couple times during the 2012 tour and they were some of the heaviest shows I have ever seen.
  17. There’s the “new” version of Sea up on streaming services right now. I need to wait until later to fully check it out though.
  18. I’m trying so hard to ignore everything besides that Codeine record. I just spent $500 on a beach trip and am trying to leave my credit card alone. Plus just bought new speakers. Ugh.
  19. Didn’t see this was already posted in the Karate thread 😑
  20. After the success of Codeine's Frigid StarsLP, the trio of Stephen Immerwahr, John Engle, and Chris Brokaw booked time at Harold Dessau Recording in June 1992 to track an eight-song sophomore album. A few days and a couple of unexplainable high-pitched frequencies later, the record was scrapped, shelved, and forgotten about. Brokaw left the band shortly after, and these songs were re-tracked in various iterations for Codeine's final LP. On its 30th anniversary, Numero has unearthed these recordings, restoring the original White Birchto the band's exacting standards with producer Mike McMackin. A slowcore masterpiece hidden in plain sight. https://numerogroup.com/products/dessau?fbclid=IwAR1ZnuDA6BoQENQA6cB9a3MA7j2KX1g9RDp5GlIpfuOSdVz6SgaVQKBxGnU I’m pretty excited to hear this. White Birch is easily my favorite Codeine album and one of my favorites of all time.
