Holy shit. I had never heard of this band until today and am listening to The Moon Is A Dead World right now. I think I’m in love.

A Seam box has been on my wishlist since the Codeine box. I was hoping for Bedhead and Duster ones for years and they did those, so here’s hoping they do more Seam. I have the repress of the first album and 7” they did recently but really really want the other albums repressed too.

I think I’m missing them all besides Newness Ends. Good to know the others are still cheap.

Check out Transaction De Novo too. It has some of their best stuff. The Present is probably my favorite song of theirs. And if you get super into Bedhead, check out The New Year. It’s the two brothers after Bedhead.

Nick Steinhardt was the art director/designer for this album. I haven’t seen everything he has done, but definitely can’t think of anything worse than this. edit: I actually don’t like the Lament cover too much either

I’m feeling like I will be hit by FOMO too but my wallet is tapped out. I have the 2011 version and that is good enough for me. I can’t imagine I would ever listen to any of that bonus stuff.

I echo what mcpherson said. You guys pressed that at the peak of my TAAS/Botch obsession and I appreciate you facilitating that. I had only heard Payday Loans from that split before spinning it for the first time and it blew my mind. I ended up buying an extra copy for a friend to initiate him into that whole scene. I’m glad you didn’t take offense to my construction paper comment.

Haha, had no idea you were connected to that until now. Don’t get me wrong, I love that thing and it’s still one of my favorite records I own. I have the milky white version and it is beautiful. I vaguely remember the shipping box having the etching art or something on it and I held on to that thing for way too long.

Throw all three albums, This Is Meant To Hurt You and Like A Virgin into a slipcase and I will gladly spend way too much money on it. Preferably remastered, gatefold and whatever else they can do to justifiably differentiate them from the originals. I love the MoM Like A Virgin release but it’d be nice with an actual sleeve and not just construction paper.
