  1. They only played new songs at the show they recently played in Ventura and they were all incredible. I am very much looking forward to this release!
  2. I'm in the same boat with Adore AND Mellon Collie & Aeroplane. If anyone sees any of those lemme know!
  3. Phone is a-ok. I was able to turn to the side, but I appreciate your concern!
  4. Spit out my drink for that one. I'd give you a +1 if I wasn't on mobile.
  5. At this point I feel like Pirates Press just has grit in every jacket at their facility. The last few releases I've gotten that were pressed there sounded like the dust sleeve was made of sandpaper.
  6. Be patient guys. There is NO ONE more solid than Robo, and they are a true DIY outfit: no tracking, just killer records.
  7. I just noticed that someone fixed the title. Since it no longer reminds me of G!YBE, I am no longer interested in this thread. RIP great thread title.
  8. I just feel the need to chime in and say that unsold product doesn't consitute a loss for the IRS when filing taxes. In fact, your remaining inventory is how you calculate profit/loss for the fiscal year. I won't go into details, but as long as he is claiming sales AND remaining inventory the tax situation would be cool. He would also have to claim all eBay sales as well though, since they are income (and would create extra profit for which taxes owed would increase) Not an ETR apologist, but rather wanted to set that straight. Source: I do it once a year.
  9. I have both versions and the HT pressing sounded virtually identical to the black pressing. Someone mentioned "gaps" or pauses in between the songs and I definitely didn't notice that. Granted, I was packing mail order while playing it, so it didn't have my full undivided attention for the entire play, but I think I would've caught that. No IGD, no issues. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.
  10. Aww man I've had my eye on that Lymbyc Systym LP. Perhaps I can collect on some debts and scoop that up with some PayPal balance soon!
  11. Yeah, those euro "LP mailers" certainly leave a lot to be desired in regards to safety in transit. I've pretty much come to expect these damages when I am ordering from overseas.
  12. Came here to post this as well. That /200 variant keeps disappearing - hopefully it's just cart hogs and those who are sleeping can grab one in the morning.
  13. I have many grievances with United. I wouldn't return to them if they were pressing for free at this point. Unless I decide that I am 100% cool with taking 9+ months for a release that is already cut to lacquer. Nothankyou.
  14. I'm with you, but only to a certain degree. We aren't audiophiles as a whole group, but we are collectors. We do enjoy listening to music on this medium BUT I can assure you that - as a label that generates new music - people don't even take the free downloads offered to them. I know that MOMR is but a glimmer in the music scene, but I can see my download/stream stats each week/month, and even though they are 100% free, they aren't very heavily taken advantage of. Not even to "check out." Meanwhile, folks here are literally climbing over themselves to spend top dollar on something that has been out into the world for decades. In short, what I meant was: I wish people would *literally* care half as much. For every two overpriced nostalgia releases, I hope that in 2015 vinyl collectors at least steal one free download from a label putting out new artists. Sometimes supporting isn't financial. I should add that this isn't a pity post, but rather that I am sure any other indie label feels the same way and I felt it should be made known! I'll keep sinking my money into bands that I love even if I don't make a penny of it back.
  15. Silly label doing preorders so early. You'd think this was Amy's first go 'round with releasing music. I'm stoked for this release to arrive, but this is a pretty rookie move.
  16. Had to get in on that RXB even though the price sucked. I missed that one at every turn for the last 5 years.
  17. Cadaver Dogs reign from Columbus, OH with a nasty rock 'n roll sound that drops panties from coast to coast. This duo is bringing us their sophomore full length titled "Too Much" which is not only a 100% accurate description of their live show, lifestyle and sound, but also the theme that went into the creation of the vinyl version of this album. The jacket is die-cut with a two color screen print on the outside and a one color screen print on the INSIDE. The insert is offset printed, and in order to get the full effect of this beauty, we are equipping you with custom 3D glasses as well. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! The entire front of the jacket is also covered with a sheet of clear polyester that is screen printed and covered in spot gloss for FOUR layers of artwork from front to back. When the insert and jacket are removed, the center "Too Much" logo also reveals itself to be 3D as well. There are three color variants for this release, each limited to roughly 100 copies each: opaque red, opaque blue and clear. Check out the Evil Dead-themed video for their lead single "Get Out! (Before You're Hollow Inside)" here: Preorders go live in our webstore on Friday 12/19 @ midnight PST. Anyone on our mailing list will get first grabs as we will send you a live preorder link earlier this week. The official release date for these is Jan 10th, and we aim to have them in your hands on or before that date! www.mindovermatterrecords.com
