  1. My local record store had a copy for the longest time that WASN'T NUMBERED. It blew my mind and I pondered picking up a second copy forever...but alas someone finally picked it up. Anyone else ever seen one that didn't have any numbers stamped into it?
  2. Plants always have an over/under, which usually is an "over." Most of the time, if a label says that it's "out of 100" it usually means that it's out of 109 or some odd number. For me personally, I hold onto a few in case of USPS damage or personal error, but they're definitely included in the actual pressing numbers. I doubt many labels press 125/525 just to hold on to 25 copies and still profess that they're pressed out of 100/500.
  3. Got mine today! With all of the colors in hand, I'd have to say that the opaque yellow for WDTWU is hands down my favorite! And, though the color options might not be 180g, they sure are a mighty heavy 140g. This is a solid reissue. Stoked to finally have my hands on them!
  4. You can also buy some board and cut your own. Then you can determine size, shape, color, thickness et al.
  5. Got my shipping confirmation today as well! Super stoked that I sprung for UPS shipping this time around as well!
  6. I'm a little surprised that these haven't sold out yet. Considering that the OG pressings of these sell for such an insane price on the 'bay, I would've assumed that at least the 180g copies would be long gone by this point.
  7. Picked up Siamese Dream and Gish LPs at my HT today, but no signs of the deluxe CDs anywhere in my fair city. :-/ Anyone have any dl links for the deluxe audio to tide me over until I'm able to score a physical copy?
  8. Include me with the insanely fast shipping. Ordered Friday (pretty late, too) and got it today. The packing was a little overkill as it was shipped inside of this MASSIVE 20x14x6 box filled with packing paper for 3 LPs...but at least everything arrived in PRISTINE condition!
  9. WHY HAS NO ONE REPLIED TO THIS YET?! Download this awesome fucking sampler and support this awesome label run by rad dudes. I have nothing but great things to say about things happening at the Barrett Records camp!
  10. I wasn't able to make a show due to having a crappy retail job and the tour dates falling so close to Black Friday, but a friend was able to score a blue copy for me. I'm so happy and thankful!
  11. I felt the need to bump this thread because I am far too excited for these two albums to show up on my doorstep.
  12. ^ Amen. Couldn't care less about your limited edition keychains and shit. Gimme the record, MAYBE a poster. But the poster should be free.
  13. I sold a copy for $65 on ebay earlier this year. Solid record, but you won't score more than $80-$90 unless some fools get into a bidding war.
  14. It was only kinda funny until you keep scrolling through the pics and see that they put "NO EBAY" on it about 100 times. They meant it, and this dude gives zero fucks.
  15. I'm sorry for any of you that follow MOMR on Twitter and are seeing this multiple times, but I had my iPod stolen tonight. I am bummed and looking to replace it ASAP. If you are looking to unload yours, please drop me a PM with a price. (I know that this isn't about vinyl, but I figured that you guys are more likely to help me on my hunt.) Thanks for looking.
  16. There is some seriously good stuff in here. Wish that I didn't opt to go hog wild on those American Nightmare reissues or I'd scoop some of these up!
  17. I will give you $15 for it. ppd. I deserve to own this record. It's only fair.
  18. When attempting to pawn off a pretty rare record for an unbelievably ridiculously high price, always return to the place on the internet where people know more about what you're selling than you do. Just like this guy has done.
  19. HT hooking us up with some discount online or in stores: Hot Topic- Friends & family get 25% off any purchase! Just show this in store or use online code: HTSFRIENDS. Ends 11/13. Pass it on!! Time for me to scoop up that Saturday Night Wrist reissue.
  20. makes sense to me. most people who are into vinyl appreciate sound quality, be it from an analog or digital source. seems like one of the more appropriate tangent subjects you could possibly have on a vinyl board. I get that idea, but only to a degree. I have spent thousands upon thousands on my record collection and setup and am thrilled at the way that it sounds and look forward to boosting that even further. However, I have never ONCE downloaded a FREE mp3 put it on my ipod and then felt cheated somehow because it wasn't "high quality" enough. I guess in my book, an mp3 is an odorless, flavorless convenience & I've never felt that they paralleled analog music in any way, shape or form. But to avoid this from derailing any further, I am a naive fucker who loves to support artists that I love in every possible capacity, so I have a CD of Major/Minor as well, and would be willing to rip it into whatever awful, fruitless version anyone on here would like.
