I wanted to jump into this thread to LOL at people quibbling over bitrates and digital audio quality...ON A VINYL MESSAGEBOARD. How about you just listen to your record for superior audio and then realize that if you're not at home, your apple earbuds won't portray the difference between 190 and 320 no matter what.

I was reading this thread and I was fully prepared to bitch about a specific incident in which a dude mailed me my copy of Grade's "Under The Radar" in a fucking BUBBLE MAILER... ...and then I saw that video. My jacket was beat up...but at least I can still listen to it. Now my heart hurts thinking about what I would do if a record of mine showed up like the one above.

This reissue makes me so so so happy. Ordered more copies than I care to admit and I surely hope to not get a giant box filled with only one color record! Now I can stop scouring eBay praying that a copy of either release will go for a reasonable price.

The only thing that sucks more than anticipating a preorder is anticipating one that you may or may not even be interested in. DAMN YOU HYDRA HEAD. You win again.

Late to the party here, but I had a "friend" passive-aggressively freak out on me about the fact that I bought a Kesha record for my girlfriend. I shamelessly listen to Kesha, and that was some seriously funny online drama. ONLY WHAT I COLLECT IS LEGIT.

I was really hoping for a Disturbed discography 26x7" boxset for this holiday. Apparently Looney Tunes won't be carrying that gem.

I honestly thought that I was being punk'd when I downloaded this leak a couple of days ago. I laughed out loud and thought to myself "wow, someone went through a lot of effort to make up a fake leak for this record." And then it hit me - this is real life. I'm sad to be alive during these dark times.

Sooooooo glad I never preordered this. I didn't have too bad of an experience with Caldo Verde with the vinyl pressing of Opiate Sun, but I can recall it taking longer than I had expected. While I pride myself on being pretty patient with preorders...my heart goes out to anyone on this thread who has no clue as to what's going on with their money/record.

I came here to post that the official site had preorders up and that Siamese Dream appears to be a single LP...but I'm late to the party! I can't imagine that they went through all of the effort of remastering Siamese Dream and then smashed it into one disc. It's also $5 more than Gish... edit: just got a reply on twitter as well. From @sprecordclub: @momrecords we got a few typos - yes it is double vinyl

I can't seem to find a valid link for the Siamese Dream preorder. Am I somehow too dumb for Amazon? :-(

I wanted to chime in and bump this thread back to the front page. Sound Study does some FANTASTIC releases, has awesome communication/customer service and is backed hard. Everyone do yourself a favor and download that sampler! It's free, for crying out loud.

Does anyone know the pressing info for the first press of "When Broken..."? My gf has a copy, it's screen printed and numbered out of 500 copies...but were they all blue? Or what other colors are there?

I also think I have a clue as to what the mystery release is, and if I'm correct, I am going to stalk Brent and beat him up for a test press.

I'd triple check your counterweight and anti-skating - assuming your record player has them - because that tends to be the culprit most of the time.

I am mucho interested in Censored Colors...but I know what ebay prices are. Can you PM what you're hoping to get out of it and see if we can reach a middle ground?
