  1. you get 50% credit for your guess. the first two are already provided in the album description: The first in the lineup is called “Look What You Did”. Featured on this release are songs about an individual or their actions that set in motion a series of deadly events; from Charles Manson’s cult atmosphere and killing spree in “The Family”, to famous 70s and 80s porn-star John Holmes descent into drug addiction that eventually lead to the slaughter of 4 people in “Wonderland”; each of the 4 songs on the EP aim to bring you back to the exact place, time, and atmosphere the moment these crimes were committed.
  2. each vinyl unique to the next. so more like many different combinations of the yellow, green, and blue vinyl. you might get a solid color or one of many different color mixes in between. i think a lot of people are mistaken when they think there are five exact variants of this special edition LP.
  3. can confirm. record arrived in NM condition, looks amazing just like the mock-up, and plays absolutely great. (analog spark soup colored edition)
  4. i received my white w/ red haze copy from no quarter today. awesome it arrived so quickly. whoever said they did a crappier job shipping than neuropa could be correct. the sealed record was placed in a smooth oversized jacket that allowed for a lot of sliding around on its transatlantic journey. dime-sized corner ding on top right corner, small corner ding on bottom left corner, 2" crease on the bottom left part of the front jacket cover, and 2 creases in the spine. i wouldn't grade the jacket higher than a VG+ and I haven't even opened it to see if there's damage inside. will spin it later tonight.
  5. no. we definitely rig USA. 100 rubles per hour to hack election for assclown trump. then we no get rubles!
  6. thanks for this. i'm thinking i'll try the canadian border for now, as i think i can pull off the canadian backpacker look. i'll try to make it to seattle (sanctuary city for now) and take my chances there. maybe even drink some vodka with the local vinyl enthusiasts in the area. it might be harder to find young, hip american woman who wants baby immediately, however i could also join a local church to increase my chances. with a combination of the church's good samaritan attitude and the warming embrace of the local vinyl community, this may be easier than i thought. now i just need to find a way to get into canada. can i just show up at airport with russian passport? i'd really like to avoid the cartels and bad hombres i've heard so much about.
  7. myself. the legal channels are costly and cumbersome with extremely long wait times. on top of that, i don't have many (if any) of the specialized skill sets that the USA seems to want when choosing who gets to enter their country legally. but life in russia is hell. i want to come to USA now, even illegally if i have to, but would like to minimize risk of getting deported. part of my plan was to arrive (through unsecured southern border, before wall) and have child with american woman. the last thing i want is to get deported from USA after all that hard work of entering country and starting family.
  8. no brainer. still waiting on No Label II and Rich Nigga Timeline.
  9. liking the alternate gatefold cover art on the special edition LP through omnian. also liking newbury says the poster is autographed, instead of signed.
  10. disregard. i got the sea island murders confused with a different series of murders i had read about. In the summer of 1983, a couple was found murdered in their beachfront cottage on Sea Island, Georgia. William B. Roberts, a former president of Chevron International Oil, Inc., was 61, and his wife, Merrill, was 52. They had been dead for four days when their naked bodies were discovered in two separate bathrooms, “repeated layers of cloth and tape covered their heads from chin to forehead”. When an autopsy was performed, it was revealed that they met their end by way of slowly suffocating. A day later, one of the suspects, a landscaper who worked on the island, drank paraquat, a weed killer, while being pursued by police, and died of lung, liver and kidney failure in a hospital two days afterward. Until then known more for visits by industrial tycoons and political heavyweights, Sea Island now had its first homicides; a dramatic rupture in genteel tranquility.
  11. what's best way to enter america illegally and not get deported? cross southern border (before wall, of course), get cash job really fast, and have child with american woman?
  12. i'm happier shelling out $29.99 for this latest release. i prefer some of the original mixes (like frontier psychiatrist), but i don't $120 prefer them.
  13. i should probably give monument builders another shot. maybe because i was listening to it during rough commutes to and from work, but i decided to pass on the vinyl. i really enjoyed 2014's sea island. i had read about the sea island murders, however didn't even realize the connection until later after i'd listened to the album 3 or 4 times.
  14. same here, but your post inspired me to finally pull the trigger and order it. the cirque reissue appears even better than the first press, as it includes 6 additional tracks.
  15. i'd like to meet you in real life, prepare to give you a high five after something cool happened, and then at the last moment say, "psych!"
  16. no. i wanted tycho to win the grammy over skrillex, who has already won 3. because i brought that up, that dude with the goofy lobster futurama avatar told me to shut the fuck up and made the claim that no one cares about the grammys.
  17. scott hansen of tycho cared: “[It’s] absolutely surreal to hear the news this morning that Epoch has been nominated for a Grammy for “Best Dance/Electronic Album,” says Hansen, who will be kicking off his world tour on Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Fox Theater. “The first Tycho release was 14 years ago, and since that time, I’ve had the good fortune of working with some incredibly talented and passionate people to help realize this vision. For me, Epoch felt like the culmination of that journey, so to have it recognized in this way is something truly special.” you guys want to punch scott hansen now? in a thread dedicated to his latest album?
  18. someone cared enough to put a grammy nominee sticker on the cover of the album. chill out bro, you're sounding pretty hostile.
  19. did anyone pick up the 3xLP reissue of biosphere's cirque? i'm quite keen to receive my copy.
  20. why not some real debate, like the fact that tycho lost the 2016 best dance/electronic album grammy to skrillex and diplo.
  21. i'm resolving with the merchant at this time for an exchange. it appears that others have red copies that play great. appreciate it tho. let the record show that after waiting four months on my preorder everything was smooth sailing until i tried to listen to my copy of the vinyl.
  22. it's ridiculous that no one is addressing the elephant in the room. it was the US government and probably other powers that funded rebel groups (like ISIS, al qaeda, al nusra, etc.) in order to overthrow the assad regime for their own geopolitical interests. the best solution from the beginning was simply to not fund terrorists in an extremely unstable part of the world. is everyone here unfamiliar with the history of the CIA? people wouldn't be fleeing syria seeking refuge and asylum if not for the fact that they are pawns caught up in a much larger, more malevolent game that is being played by very powerful people.
