  1. I probably could have been more clear. The subscription pressing had Trump on the center labels and cover. There were supposedly ~30 "mispresses" that had the Bush center label and 1234Go sold 3 of them.
  2. 1234 Go put a gold copy of NOFX - Ribbed on ebay. Interested to see what it goes for. I think they may have realized that they underpriced the Bush center label WOEs that they sold on discogs https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOFX-Ribbed-Live-in-a-Dive-LP-BAND-ONLY-GOLD-VINYL-punk-fat-Wreck-chords/383590172101?epid=245787712&hash=item594fc185c5:g:zqAAAOSw6JJe5pyQ
  3. You can just tell paypal that their $30 won't cover the cost of shipping and that it's not worth returning the product. I've done this a few times - once with a cheap record where the store sent me the wrong item and once where something I sent got a corner ding and the buyer complained. Paypal refunded out of their own pocket. I didn't know about the return shipping thing. I have to return an item and may look into filing a claim just so they pay for the shipping.
  4. Sorry, but this is wrong. Paypal also offers protection for sellers as long as you follow their guidelines and it sounds like you're doing it so they can't file a claim in the case something happens.
  5. What shift? I think its pretty rare that sellers will ask for friends and family. I also generally just sell on discogs now so not even an option. If someone asks for friends and family I'll generally toss them the extra 3%. I prefer the protection unless I know who I'm buying from or it's someone I've dealt with before.
  6. Fat also has the tour version of Face to Face - Hold Fast on their store. Not sure if this is old news https://fatwreck.com/collections/face-to-face/products/hold-fast-acoustic-sessions
  7. So standalone color vinyl of the FT split is now sold out. I doubt they sold through the 8000 available copies. Wonder if maybe they left it open for a week or so and then they'll press however many were ordered.
  8. I wouldn't count on it. The 10,000 color is likely split over a range of different colors and black will probably be repressed as needed. I know everyone is waiting for the day fat makes the black more limited but its not just not likely.
  9. Right?! Trying to match up those goddamn color names in the pressing info to what you're buying.
  10. I think generally speaking we think of lazy employees as the bad apple outcasts, but when it comes to USPS the outcasts are the ones that are actually happy and helpful. I can't count the number of times I've been to a post office with a line and an employee in plain view either playing on their phone or bullshitting. You would think that when your company is in jeopardy of going out of business you might try to help customers so your company makes money rather than say...locking the door and saying you're closed.
  11. While I definitely want USPS to survive because god forbid mail had to be sent FedEx or UPS, they're certainly not trying to help themselves. Their employees certainly don't seem worried that they're potentially going out of business as they're all still lazy as fuck. Went to drop something off this weekend and the door was locked because "there were too many people inside" so they were "closed" instead of a "hey there's too many people inside so do you mind lining up outside and coming in when someone leaves?" Also, we have a long line inside so instead of helping customers and moving through this line faster, I'm going to stand at the door and unlock/lock it for every person that leaves. I could really tell they needed my money. I also prepay, but I take stuff in to get scanned since if I don't it takes about a week to reach a distribution center that will actually scan it and I'd like some sort of record that I mailed the package and USPS has it. If one of these other employees did their job and scanned packages they took out of mailboxes, or at one of the closer distribution centers I wouldn't even have to go inside. It's like a competition to see who can be the laziest when it comes to USPS employees.
  12. I mean didn't somebody pay you the $20 for shipping? Did you refund them since it cost less?
  13. If I drop mail in a mailbox here it generally doesn't get scanned for ~5 days until it gets to LA distribution. I've also had a package make it all the way to Florida without ever getting scanned.
  14. Swingin Utters 7" PO https://fatwreck.com/collections/new-releases/products/sirens
  15. @IanRees will there be one of those screenprinted cover bundles for the new strike!?
  16. Probably SRC. They love to be the first to post POs so they can try to sell product before anyone else puts it for sale. Not sure why anyone would order from them when its cheaper from Bull Moose and you have a greater than 50/50 shot of ever receiving it.
  17. https://asianmanrecords.limitedrun.com/products/667577-the-chinkees-k-a-music-12 one time pressing of 500 copies.
  18. 300 people to run a record store. who would have thought? So either they have a bunch of people working 5 hours a week or they have a bunch of people who they don't want to give health insurance to. Either way. Take that $400,000 out of the $34M you sold your building for.
  19. $400,000 is insane. They say they have 400 employees. They have 3(!!!) stores. How can they have 400 employees? Also, in case anyone doesn't remember they sold their building for $34 million last year. They're closing the doors on the current location because they were moving anyway.
  20. Thought I'd start a thread for this because one of my favorite stores has one going. I'm sure they're not the only one, but they post here and they're always super helpful around RSD so here's a gofundme for 1234Go. Post your local stores as well https://www.gofundme.com/f/1234goneedsyourhelp Edit: also feel free to throw in your local venues as long as they're not livenation or other corporate bullshit.
