  1. There's nothing I need, huzzah! Would grab U2 - 3 and the Sorry To Bother You OST on discount, if neither sell-out. Eh, maybe I'll give both the Lizzo and The Wrens a spin and decide if I need to change my mind.
  2. Might as well go for this. The couple of those B-Sides I vaguely remember hering (Monday Morning, Lights of London) are as good as anything on the album itself.
  3. Is everyone else digging the remix? I'm not calling it a remaster because they've really reworked the mix, too. I know Steve Hoffman forum doctrine says "Actually remaster; don't mess with the OG mix" but I love all the heavy tweaking they've done to Abbey Road 2019. I really don't care that it's far away from any of the official mixes.
  4. Because it's a perfect rock album. It predicts all the "heavy-pop" sounds that would rule the 70s: hard-rock, boogie-rock, early metal, stoner-rock, etc. Revolver and Sgt. Pepper's also have iconic album covers and as far as that goes, Dark Side of The Moon has to still be the most iconic as far as poster art goes.
  5. Uhhhh really hoping for another PO window. Was really hoping for an in-store purchase for this.
  6. Clear vs clear-with-smoke ain't a huge difference. But yeah, I wouldn't know what else to do with it given the movie's in black-and-white, and not even sepia-tone.
  7. "Underwhelming" isn't a negative assessment, aka complaint? Never claimed you should be pissed at the existence of variants; quite the opposite. I just find it weird it's considered so normal so soon in the OST vinyl field that we get to complain about them when they're released. Tbh I find the vast majority of OST variants way less inventive & uninteresting than in the non-OST world, Stranger Things aside (ignoring cost).
  8. Wow, we've really gotten to the point where SB & Invada are dominating the OST field, pumping out dozens of variants (per release in some cases) and bitching about the existence of three variants to begin with is a legit disposition. Even five years ago, getting an OST pressed on vinyl *at all* was a big deal. How far we've come and how little we remember.
  9. Remastered at Abbey Road = me gonna flip my Ba Da Bing, then.
  10. I've got a perfectly fine 2011 pressing. Honestly wondering what makes you think this will "proper" by comparison? Polydor vinyl are impeccable, granted...
  11. You'd think they'd release that on CSD. Maybe they planned to and missed the deadline? Kinda breaks RSD kayfabe IMO.
  12. Hey did they remaster FLCL vol. 1 for vinyl? Kinda worried it'll be the OG CD master & won't sound as good as it can. Anyone cop any of those recent The Pillows vinyl releases in 2017? Those might be a clue.... P.S. Hope nothing I typed was too triggering for all the delicate pearl-clutchers desperate to seek offense under every rock & around every corner, divining intent & tone via text.
  13. Yeah gonna need to splurge on these. There goes my October budget for vinyl, lol. I need Truelove (I have all the 7"s for it) & everything after even though I'm not a huge fan of the production on some of the more recent ones. Seems like the 2001 LP version of the self-titled EP is out of sale, though. They only made 300 of them.
  14. Got me a gold cover of Empire Building. Looks like it sold out in ~1 min! Edition of 500. Just a normal day in the vaporwave PO scene. White edition of 1000 going fast! 750-ish as I type.
  15. Such a great show. Don't want to ruin the setlist surprises but I would advise folks to study up on songs the album samples for a sneak peek.
  16. Keep in mind there's a 5th Anniversary edition with a remixes and b-sides extra lp out there. Or you could buy this one & that Extras lp separately. Also check out his Dark Red album. For fans of Fly Lo or early Baths.
  17. And a neat coke-bottle-green reissue of Future of Funk Vol. 1 In other vapornews, the Saint Pepsi reissue has a release date. Keep in mind the label's in UK as far as time-zones go. This is the only vaporwave "Must Have" I can think of. And the rest are other Saint Pepsi albums, mostly.
  18. You basically told me to go to the website that 's linked in the OP. That presumes I somehow failed to notice it. Why would you presume that?
  19. Why is my response clarifying & explaining where I'm coming from "un-Canadian"? Honestly the replies on this thread to one simple question have been really bizarre & unhelpful. I've never felt I've had to justify a simple question so much on a board of any kind. I guess what I've learned is that I shouldn't find it surprising/bizarre that a store like Sonic Boom that carries (almost literally) one of everything or Rotate This who did a killing on the first editions of mum (and Morr Music vinyl of that era) didn't have a clue about this reissue... With the FAB Distro newsletter doing a profile on it, specifically. Okay then!
  20. Already taken care of. I merely wanted to know if anyone else had trouble finding this particular release in a physical store. And if not, if the owner seemed to be aware of it. That's all. Nothing more, nothing less. Although I should add that part of why I'm asking is because I've talked to multiple shops and they all cited a different release date
  21. OG mix is over-compressed af. I'm ONLY interested in the 2019 mix & the extras tbh.
