  1. I've had to email Neelejuice to get them to cancel my order which included Adelaide '19 before they made plans today for the box set. And with the pre-order window closing in a week the refund won't be reflected on my CC by the time I pay for the box set. Hey labels, please don't jump the gun? I bet no one loves having to spend a workday refunding and cancelling orders.
  2. We'll actually get to hear more of Jimmy! Huzzah!
  3. There are like 7 versions of Teenage Gizzard on Qrates, but only one of them is a 10". If this gets funded, it will be the only KG&LW 10" since the OG Willoughby's Beach. The only (minor) downside is that the colour is fairly boring (clear aqua). https://qrates.com/projects/22219-teenage-gizzard-10-inch-willoughby-s-beach-tribute
  4. Two Needlejuice variants for Demos Vol. 1 and 2: https://needlejuicerecords.com/product/gizzarddemos/
  5. I can't pay more for shipping than the vinyl itself for two tracks, even in this context. Hopefully a few copies trickle to local stores. Will check inventory in mid-Feb.
  6. Wake me up when Biden's alleged underaged victim screencaps texts soliciting nudes like what happened with RA. Comparing apples and oranges, otherwise. Biden's probably a creep, but he's a career politician entrenched in neoliberal power so he's largely immune. Just like Trump who's literally raped multiple children at Epstein's magic island. RA is also entrenched in and sheltered by regressive-male fanboy impunity, it seems. Both their whiteness and their male status contribute to both men having delusionally overrated senses of self but one is operating at a much higher level of power than the other. The answer to fighting the impunity of power is robbing these people of their access to power since they demonstrate beyond argument an incapacity to wield it without abuse. Same exact principle as bum-rushing a shooter to try to steal the firearm away from them before that person kills more people. The solution isn't to resort to regurgitating Newt Gingrich talking points from 1985 and lay all the blame on liberalism, which isn't the same thing as neo-liberalism (a conservative tendency).
  7. Consequence Culture forces the issue. And whom that has been called out/been subjected to a MeToo moment has genuinely changed? Got a single name? Just one.
  8. Pollute the atmosphere with wasteful destruction to feel good about symbolically owning an abusive artist versus enabling someone to listen to his music on vinyl without the artist profiting from it. Gotcha.
  9. Good isn't even great, which isn't even excellent, which isn't even genius. A Yeezy stan like you oughta know. Thought y'all standards was "genius-tier art or miss me". But I guess expecting Yeezy stans to be consistent from even one moment to the next is the real absurdity.
  10. Anyone still looking for Grandaddy? Juno has it in stock. They're usually reliable. Let's see what happens! https://www.juno.co.uk/products/grandaddy-rip-coyote-condo-5/799145-01/
  11. Good job with everything. I think you got some audience-crossover from the lo-fi beats nerds on that one. Any plans on releasing some of your other post-Nautilus albums on vinyl? Tomorrowland's Today would be my pick, since I could see so many labels, from Hiraeth to Needlejuice to Geolull to Tiger Blood Tapes release it, and it would make sense for them to release it.
  12. Sweet! IMO this is one of the most lo-fi sounding of all lo-fi indie albums, so I wonder if the remix/remaster is going to polish a lot of rusty noise away. One of the Rotate This guys more or less runs Blue Fog, so I expect to be able to buy this there.
  13. Would love vinyl reissues of the early stuff but also both 2008 EPs in one LP.
  14. Jo Johnson (ex-Huggy Bear, now doing ambient and drone music) has kept reducing the cost of her only solo LP on vinyl, Weaving, which is a gloriously lovely album, one of the best synth-based ambient works I've heard in the last decade (which is saying something). There are 6 copies left, at £8 each. Totally worth the price of admission. https://jojohnson.bandcamp.com/album/weaving P.S. She's released a bunch of digital-only mini-LPs/EPs this year (more drone-noise vibes), and now they're at PWYC prices.
  15. Same, but for the Elliott Smith 12". Clear with a generous amount of marbled orange.
  16. No dice for Grandaddy from Reckless. Not their fault ofc.
  17. I wasn't particularly looking but I didn't see it listed anywhere. As for stock coming in next week, I know that Dead Dog said they're expecting stuff like the John Prine box-set to be delivered in a week or so.
  18. I kinda feel like trying to find a Grandaddy is pretty futile at this point with only 600 copies in the wild. It's supposed to be an RSD First but is there any indication it's going to be reissued soon? I'd love to have it for when my Sophtware Slump box-set shows up in Jan
  19. Lots of Uncle Tupelo left here in Toronto. I'm sure shipping costs are brutal, assuming they even ship to the US: https://www.pop-music.ca/uncle-tupelo-live-at-lounge-ax-record-store-day-lp.html https://www.deaddogrecords.com/lp-uncle-tupelo-live-at-lounge-ax-march-24-1994-2l.html
  20. Looking for The Stranglers and Grandaddy. Anyone with a link help me out please.
  21. Really stoked! Any plans to reissue Exit? Hopefully with Superstarr Pt. Zero?
