  1. Feeling dumb for having slept on this. Any chance stores are going to get copies?
  2. Missing perspective: Wait ten, fifteen, twenty years and pretty much everything under the sun will get reissued.
  3. Intransigency, resorting to wild hypotheticals and being obtuse are not hallmarks of "healthy debate". Using every opportunity to claim persecution is toxic attention-seeking behaviour, tbh.
  4. Looks cool, though I'd share. https://www.juno.co.uk/products/michael-stearns-planetary-unfolding-reissue/669143-01/
  5. Oh for sure. For me, it's the fact that it's the Arranged version, which is not my preferred version tbh. It's nice and actually works as a proper album, granted, but does anyone remember the fusion-jazz version of Chrono Trigger OST? I'd love a vinyl of that. That's weirdly my fave version.
  6. Only 22 left on Bandcamp. I'm sort of meh about it since the first track leans so heavily on a sample of Werner Herzog's Encounters at the End of the World. But ASIP fans tend to buy their stuff on spec.
  7. Volume 1 by Quiet Places There's many things about this place that I find unusual. One of the things I find fascinating is how quiet it gets. It’s the quietest place… Consisting of Dennis White, Charlie May, and Dave Gardner, 'Quiet Places' is a new project by the UK producers focusing on vivid and wide-screen journeys. Between the three, their production roots go deep into some of electronic music's most important outputs of the last few decades. Be it performing live as part of Sasha's recent Refracted shows, their own individual projects such as Spooky, Sentre and Cosmonauts or remixing the likes of M83, The XX, Thom Yorke, Little Dragon or Elizabeth Fraser they are no strangers to electronica. Volume 1, born out of a whisky-inspired late-night laptop jam session in Somerset England, takes us on an uninterrupted 60 minute beatless and immersive trip down the rabbit hole. Along the way, we stop off in some familiar, and some not so familiar surroundings. Various characters talk of otherworldly experiences and journeys into deep space, both micro and macro, against a backdrop of hypnotic melodies and haunting electronic soundscapes. Dynamically the record moves between the polar opposites of pin-drop quiet and vast all-engulfing sonic black holes. Becoming, in essence, the soundtrack to a sci-fi movie that has yet to be made. credits releases August 10, 2020 https://astrangelyisolatedplace.bandcamp.com/album/volume-1 Transparent Gatefold 2LP (Preorder copies) Record/Vinyl + Digital Album • 100 pre-order copies available now, remainder available on release day, August 10th. • Copies also available at Juno and other stores on release day: asip.me/qpjuno • Transparent vinyl in matte gatefold sleeve • Vinyl-specific continuous edits • Artwork by Noah M / Keep Adding • Mastered and Lacquer cut by Andreas Lupo Lubich • Limit 1 order per customer - the label reserves the right to cancel orders of more than 1 Includes digital pre-order of Volume 1. 8. 27 euros for shipping? Eh, I'll try my luck finding a black copy.
  9. Thanks for the link. I gather this is like a Best Of type of comp?
  10. I would drop everything for Air Formation reissues. Also, the pre-A Place To Bury Strangers band Skywave from the same era.
  11. I don't think Cherry Red are open on weekends, so you may have missed them for that long. I don't anticipate hearing back from them until the 1st but they should get back to you sooner than me. If you set up an account you can also go into your order and click on the cancellation button. I did both.
  12. Thanks! I cancelled my Cherry Red order, too and went with Deep Discount.
  13. Thanks so much. I'm so glad I waited for this. It is everything I imagined it would be and then a lot more. Insta-ordered.
  14. This board makes you upload images to Imgur or some other service first
  15. Congratulations on Nautilus 2 and Nautilus 1 Qrates. I'll back both by the end of the month.
  16. Yes I had to tear up the outer plastic sleeve to get to the 12" gatefold , which did get a bit glued-together.
