My copy of Nocturnal finally showed up. Tracking didn't work well and it took awhile though. And in general they were unresponsive to messages.

I thought I read somewhere about him destroying/losing the masters to this. Cool that its finally coming though.

I had first heard them, Fear Of A Blank Planet specifically, back in high school almost a decade ago. I hadn't heard much progressive rock and I think it was the first concept album I'd ever heard too. Changed my thoughts and experiences towards music forever. I find FOABP really difficult to listen to as a result of how depressing it is now however. In Absentia is probably my favorite.

How can you tell?

Maybe I'm just being paranoid. My tracking hasn't updated in almost two weeks now, and I can't seem to find any info about what shipper deals with the item when it arrives in Canada. MetalBlade isn't replying and neither is the shipping company.

Had they already provided you with a tracking number for your order?

Did anyone who ordered from the eBay Metal Blade EU store receive theirs yet? My tracking info says that my item has arrived and transferred, but that was about a week ago and I can't seem to track it any further. I'm located in Canada btw.

Listening for the first time now, and I like his other albums better. If it didn't come out to 60$+ CAD after shipping I might go for it. I'd shell that much out for Blonde, and maybe Channel Orange though.

Any copies left anywhere else?

If a title doesn't make the official list, does that mean its in shorter supply? Or some retailers won't get it? Or?

I need Nocturnal. Missed the repress earlier this year and I was kicking myself for it (until now!)

How has the quality of DataDisks pressings in the past? Are their coloured variants noticeably better/worse than their black wax pressings?

Would love for Gangs to get repressed, but I doubt that'll happen.

I've got two. First is Face Tat by Zach Hill. I've been trying to find a copy for a not stupid price (there are a few copies on discogs, but the most reasonably priced one won't ship to Canada). Second is a bit more interesting. I've been trying to find a copy of Dandelion Gum by Black Moth Super Rainbow for some time now. Outside of discogs, I could never seem to find a copy, and with the exchange rate and shipping costs, I could never bring myself to shell out 70$ CAD or more for it used. I've had copies on order from amazon for awhile with the old "we will deliver it when we have it" warning, and it was cancelled both times several months later. Low and behold, the other morning, around 5 AM, I was up and Amazon had a single, brand new, prime eligible copy for sale. I figured it was an error and bit the bullet. There was no way that a record that has been out of print since 2015 was suddenly found in their warehouse. Against all odds, it showed up at my door, and strangely, its the plain black version, which is a mail order exclusive according to discogs (whatever that means). Really glad to finally have it and it sounds fantastic.
