I really like the songs themselves for the most part. The ugliness of the mix only really gets to me on some tracks. Overall I think it’s pretty solid and the criticism here is overblown in my opinion. To each their own obviously.

I bought the purple splatter half clear split on discogs for $20. Might want to keep an eye there.

How convenient that it wasn't available to add as a track for $23 but now it's available in store at $34. It's getting harder and harder to support their shenanigans.

Cobra is actually one of the few Stereolab albums I never got into. Just picked up the clear on Port of Sound, not going to risk missing out on all three because of my stubbornness.

Man, waited until the last minute to pick up one of the Relapse variants and now I missed out. Procrastination is not a good idea in this hobby. If anyone has an extra of any of the Relapse releases I'd be interested in taking it off your hands, really don't feel like going the Newbury route.
