The Sciences they didn't announce until the night before which I'm sure is why it wasn't hard for me to grab there. But they also distributed that and Leagues to other shops while all of these are being sold at their store so maybe they'll have plenty. Either way no doubt the line will be long.

I'll probably try and grab one of these. I wish they'd give any sort of clue about how many they press so i could know how early i need to go. When the Sciences Black/Green was sold there was no line and they had plenty shortly after they opened. But when that Leagues Beneath 12" was released they had a huge line (in the rain) and it sold out pretty fast. Which is funny to me as that just sells for about cost nowadays.

Well 5k if you include the 3k in the boxset. I wonder if this, the red WalMart, and the standard black will be it for variants.

It is up on Amazon UK and Japan already. I'm sure that it'll be on the US site soon. I'm also seeing it pop up at a lot of random UK/Eu shops now. So there is no real reason to think it isn't a big worldwide release. This reminds me of the recent Nick Cave boxset which sold out the first few places that listed it and then it was readily available.

This seems to be getting more common. I've noticed a few sellers with great feedback in the past months who were all of a sudden offering a lot of really rare items for maybe 25% below market value. It was too much of a red flag for me. A week or so later on one of them there was a ton of negative feedback and the sellers response was that they were hacked.

Was hoping this would be sold out already as I'm trying hard to talk myself out of buying one. It was such a huge part of my high school days. But do I really need another copy for $50?

The 5lp is down to $100 on Amazon now. At least now we know it was supposedly a 1 time only pressing.

I thought the 2lp was just a standard gatefold. Cheapest i've seen the box stateside has been $100.

I may have got one if it had the og cover. But I love seeing that we can still get double LPs under $30.

Zuzu newsletter regarding a listening party on June 18th says: " SP Archive Black Vinyl Edition will be Available In Store only! ALL DAY! Live In K, Live at the Viper room and Rubano Tapes Vol.1" There was never a listing for a black Rubano was there (did they do any of them in black)? And they already have these in store to sell? Still 2-4 months out from when they said the blue Rubano would ship.

My local just got copies of MC in, but of course they priced them at $150. Or $175 on discogs. Retail store flipping is one of my biggest pet peeves.

Considering that it is an anniversary reissue with new art and better packaging etc that there will be a good amount pressed overall. But I could see some 500-1k variants happening. Always happy when I can give Sacred Bones some money so hoping their variant is nice.

Looks like Sacred Bones will have their own version of it as well. Wonder how many variants there will be.

Contact ebay. I had a similar thing happen but it was a week after I sold the item and the buyer already had it. The sale was good, I had already been paid and they didn't try and take it back. It was really ebay just covering their ass so that it was removed from their site. But someone must have reported it to them for this to happen which is extra annoying unless it was the label or artist themselves.
