Would have been nice if they’d simply announced the box set and the individual releases at the same time. People who wanted to splurge could have gone for the box and the rest of us could have just picked what we wanted.
And indeed, interesting to see what happens if the individual releases outshine the copies in the box set.

Got my copy today and just spun Deloused. Both discs are a bit warped (especially the first one) but the sound is fantastic.

Cannibal Corpse, Agalloch, and Black Kirin up at Nesi. Missed out on the 100 Corpse since I had to get the Agalloch.
Man that went fast. Had everything I wanted in my basket but sold out instantly. Missed out on the /100 Agalloch and CC so grabbed the less limited variants instead.

It’s not that strange people are complaining, right? The preorder implied these would be the complete studio recordings (turned out that wasn’t the case) on 180 gram vinyl (which apparently isn’t the case). When you charge upwards of 400 + shipping for what’s basically six albums and some extras it’s not that weird that people expect to receive a product as advertised. Especially since we all know the whole 180 grams thing is usually an excuse for companies to actually charge more for a record in the first place.
Meanwhile, what really bothers me is that I preordered this thing the day it went up, have not received it yet (or even got shipping confirmation for that matter) while my local record store was selling it on Friday for a slightly lower price than I paid.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for a copy of the colored version in Europe it would be much appreciated.
All I’ve found so far are vendors in the UK, which, incidentally, are all sold out.

Those Murlocs Loopholes reissues went fast. I guess when you let flippers take two copies per variant that is going to happen. Just not meant to be with this record I guess.
I underestimated how fast these would go, missed out as well. Too bad. Grabbed the new one plus Uncle Murl though.

Bought it for €169, didn’t even see it up for €150. Too bad.

Best post-hiatus album, don't @ me.
Too early for me to say. Luciferian Towers and Asunder... are fantastic as well. But I thoroughly enjoyed what I heard last night.

Cool.. checked the site from time to time 😂
I’ve checked a number of times as well. Didn’t see anything. So if it sold out it must have been fast.

I’d love to pick up those Punk Note versions but shipping to Europe is outrageous.
-
Wouldn’t a lot of people cancel their preorders if individual releases are announced? Especially if they’re colored variants. Only reason I ordered the box is that I want these records on vinyl. Could definitely do without the etchings, book, pins etc. though.

I never got a confirmation mail except from PayPal. Do others have the same problem?

Not including the Frances song would be so incredibly lame given a) the price of this box and b) the fact that it contains like three etched sides.
Edit: not to mention the fact that it’s false advertising as it’s supposed to include the entire studio recordings.

I mean it’s still available in the EU shop 399€+ shipping :
I completely missed the fact that there was a European shop. Ordered after telling myself I wouldn’t.

Sold out. Crazy. Didn’t grab one in the end as it was over $600 shipped to Europe. Don’t really need the book or demos either. Plus I’m counting on the fact they’ll release individual copies later on. Let’s hope I’m not wrong about that because otherwise I’ll sure regret it.

Should have just grabbed the Robo but thought I had more time. Silly me.
Same here. Had the Robo one in my cart. Then shipping to Europe turned out to be like $25. So I figured I’d grab a copy from District. No luck. Ah well. Missed out on the colored s/t last time as well, so at least I’m consistent.

Merchdirect was $24.99, Hardtimes $15.67 and Saint Vitus $14.17.
Picked the wrong vendor then. Ah well, at least I got a copy.

Couldn't finalize my order through merchdirect yesterday...
Thanks to whoever posted the Revolver link as I could grab one there. And the shipping costs were considerably lower for European orders.
How much was shipping to EU? I paid $24.99 for shipping through merchdirect.

Crystal Coffin's "Transformation Room" is available for the first time on vinyl, and it's limited to 200. This is one of my favorite records of 2020. It's vicious and catchy, but thoughtfully layered and really holds up to repeated listens.
Came across this on Bandcamp. Wasn’t familiar with this band at all but ordered a copy. Good stuff!

Bell Witch represses up for US orders now at Profound Lore (Canada and EU elsewhere)

Mirror Reaper on Blue Galaxy or Orange Galaxy
Four Phantoms on Yellow Galaxy or Aquatic Galaxy
New EU store won’t let you pick a variant but sends them out randomly instead, which is kinda lame.

Overpriced CM release. The spoils of bands signing with them.
I paid €22 for a colored version (black was slightly cheaper). That’s not at all a crazy price for a new record right?
Soon? The Mars Volta

Box set retains its value. If you buy all six albums + Tremulant and Landscape Tantrums from the EU shop it comes down to about €370 without shipping. Box was €400 without. Plus it’s all regular black vinyl, not even 180 gram. Sigh of relief.
