  1. They're hardly teasing it, Billy's been posting on Instagram that they're in the studio with Rick Rubin. D'Arcy won't be joining them, but she confirmed there's a tour planned. Their first show ever was October 5 1988 at the Metro in Chicago. I wouldn't be surprised if this is billed as a reunion-anniversary deal and the first show takes place in Oct at the Metro.
  2. I'm down to my final three blu-rays to sell, let me know if you want to buy. Pulp Fiction T2 - Judgement Day - Skynet Edition Close Encounters of the Third Kind - Collector's Edition - 2 Disc w/ Collector's Book $15 PPD
  3. I predict I will crack on ordering Magnolia in less than 30 days BUT, speaking of PTA, I will also be all over any release of the Phantom Thread score. Greenwood did it again. Best part of the film for me.
  4. Woof yeah unfortunately I am too. Maybe if I see a copy in-store somewhere, but not an online purchase for me. Watched the movie yesterday, too - had forgotten how amazing the Aimee Mann songs are throughout. Sucker for Wise Up.
  5. Can't find a quick 3LP for reference on the website, but does anyone know a price point yet?
  6. Not really digging the artwork at all but I might finally snag a Mondo release. First one for me.
  7. I'll be a little bit shocked if we don't see a 25th anniversary, first pressing of Sheryl Crow's "Tuesday Night Music Club" (1993)
  8. The best thing to come of this, for me, is that I remembered I still need FS/LS. Is there a superior pressing? I know VMP has it on the roster but not sure if anyone has it in hand yet
  9. Pre-order for this will be going up tomorrow according to some friends in the know. Standard and deluxe versions, here's a photo of the deluxe. Rumored $50 on Amazon.
  10. As pumped I was to get my indie exclusive and as much as I really love this album - I'd have to agree the vinyl listening experience was not as great as I'd hoped.
  11. The U2 release is a limited edition of the new single "You're the Best Thing About Me," somewhat unfortunately.
  12. Like others, I love the album and it's been in my wantlist for awhile, but the price point seems high. I'll watch the Amazon thread for this one.
  13. https://www.mybloodyvalentine.org/shop/default.aspx 180 gram vinyl album mastered from analog tapes using Studer A80 VU PRE and Neumann VMS 80 cutting lathe for full analog signal path. 14. INXS Store has red and black versions available for pre-order now. 2017 marks a triumvirate of anniversaries for the legendary Australian rock band INXS. It’s now 40 years since they first formed the band; 30 years since Kick made them global superstars; and 20 years since the untimely passing of their iconic frontman and friend Michael Hutchence. “You can hear this album like you’ve never-before,” says Giles Martin of the new 30th-anniversary Edition of INXS’s seminal sixth album Kick. “You can hear Michael so close to you, you can hear his breath. You feel like you’re in the studio with the band. You have a record that’s 30 years old, but it’s been taken in a completely new direction and you can listen to it in a completely new way and it becomes new again. Great music and great songs, they don’t get old.” 2017 marks a triumvirate of anniversaries for the legendary Australian rock band INXS. 15. Hell yeah!! Had Exit Planet Dust in my hand in a shop the other day and just didn't want to spend $30 on it. This rules.
  16. I'm assuming there's still no update on Midnite Vultures? (or The Information, fwiw) replied to the wrong page, i see the discussion above.
  17. That I can thankfully pass on. I've been gunning for a copy of Bernstein's score for the original NOES since I've been collecting - currently having an internal debate over whether or not I need the rest of the box to justify what's going to be a pretty steep pricetag.
  18. I'm gonna need a fat wallet when they/DW finally announce the NOES box set...
  19. Ha, I needed a new slipmat and was at the PJ Wrigley shows. This is a hugely convenient score for me.
  20. 10c just emailed me and told me I'm in the "shipping queue" for Lets Play Two and that it should ship soon. Not getting my hopes up for a special variant, but I guess we'll see when it gets here.
  21. Saw U2 in Kansas City a few nights ago - they're my all time favorite act, especially to see live, and I've seen them 10 or so times over as many years...this most recent show really blew me away. They hadn't played this tight in years! Just really locked it in and delivered. This was my third Joshua Tree Anniversary show and very easily the best. I also work in a venue so I'm seeing shows most nights - coming up in the next week, we'll have Jonny Lang, JJ Grey & Mofro, Dale Watson, and a few others I'm excited about.
  22. Yep, Road Apples is great! I didn't realize it would cost $90 to ship. I'll definitely be waiting to see if this is carried in stores, or at least well-reduced

  24. And speaking of horror soundtrack reissues, looks like Death Waltz is finally doing A Nightmare on Elm Street. Does anyone know how long it typically takes Mondo to finish a run once the TPs are approved?
