My overpriced copy of Burn showed up yesterday. The gatefold cover and inner looks great. First impression is the album is kind of meh. Better than Gonzo but that's about it. These guys need to get Justin Hawkins back to produce again. The over the top production suited them much better.

Seam splits dramatically increased with the popularity of fucking 180 gram vinyl. I hate that shit. No need for it other than to jack up the cost on the manufacturing end as well as for the end user. There's zero sonic benefit. I laugh when a store expects you to accept a record that arrives with seam splits and keep your mouth shut. They don't consider it damaged when it's going from their hands to yours...but when you walk in to sell a record with a seam split jacket then they're sure as fuck going to ding you for it. It's bullshit. Seam splits on the jackets and inner sleeves are damaged product. End of story.

Question for Foxy Shazam fans -
Years ago they filmed themselves recording a cover of 'Everythings Alright' from Jesus Christ Superstar. Did that ever get released?
Here's "Heaven on their Minds" from Jesus Christ Superstar.

Mind Over Matter test pressings for sale:
https://www.mindovermatterrecords.com/tempstore
"For the first time ever, we are going to offer up to the public some of our rare, out of print items as well as some test pressings. Now, most of our test pressings go to the band and to friends/family, so there aren't a ton laying around...but we have enough to share and we frankly need the space!
Please keep in mind that every single test pressing is made entirely by hand and some of the layouts are downright absurd in their scope...but no matter what they all take a good deal of time to create. As such, they are priced accordingly. Hopefully collector's see the true value in these, as they aren't just another white label record in a dust sleeve...there's a lot of care put into our test pressings.
That being said, many of the items that you see for sale have 1 or 2 copies up for sale."

Hope you got your test pressing. Looks like they sold out in 10-15 seconds.

Good luck! I hope it works out for you. I never chased test pressings, although I have a few that I happened to pick up over the past 40+ years. I just rarely spin them and I just don't have room anymore for things I don't spin.
King Buffalo is fucking amazing. I saw them a year ago at a hole in the wall here in Detroit. Me and maybe 10 people on a hotter than hell summer night. The two opening bands sounded real rough but when KB played it sounded glorious. One of the best small venue stage balances I've ever heard. They just killed. I bought their whole catalog that night. They still seemed to be a bit of a secret, but they're amazing.

Doesn't seem to be many holidays-related (or Ritchie Blackmore/Deep Purple) posts here, but maybe someone else will dig this besides just me.

It's been a shitty year on multiple levels and I haven't followed RSD very closely at all. I'm interested in the live UFO 2LP. Has anyone seen it online today besides eBay and Discogs?

Has anybody seen/heard anything more regarding that elusive Dirty Three 4xLP release yet. I've noticed that there is still not a Discogs listing showing for it yet. Had a look on eBay..none listed on there either...all very strange.
I think that was cancelled. There's an Amazon page but I don't think it ever dropped:

Waaaay too much. If anything I’ll wait for Bullmoose or Amazon.
I don't think their last album made it further than Bandcamp.
